MUST.

WIN.

Has been the case for the last 5 matches.

Better expect us to lose 3-0. Son x2 Kane x1.

Not saying we will win but Spurs are a dejected team right now.

Still better than Newcastle or 10 man Southampton? Son and Kane will do us I think.

I'd prefer it if they (Spurs) didn't have so much to play for themselves and Kane will want that Golden Boot again but I get the feeling Mason has told them to just go out and express themselves rather than have a tactical approach and it's not been for the better, they were wide open against Villa, lots of space between DM and CB which Maddison should relish. Can see a high scoring 3-3 (hopefully not) or 3-2. Villa fan for the day and not too hopeful that Palace even with Hodgson wetiring, and if they use every twick in his wepertoire they won't have enough plus factor in the VAR dial set to Liverpool. You just know there will be late goals in one or two of the games, just lucky I got a ticket rather than face the SKY bias for their chosen few clubs.

Would make sense to get something out of Ricardo and Praets relative freshness but otherwise we havelimited options for change. Would have loved it to be a dead rubber game and see Morgan, Fuchs and the likes of Tavares or Leshbela get a run out.

I appreciate the short notice and expense that goes into banners and flags, I also would assume a large chunk of Union FS members went to Wembley last week therefore wouldn’t have been allowed tickets to this and the fact social distancing is in place wouldn’t really give a great visual display for a Tifo for example but I’ve just seen a post by Union FS with a “Captain Morgan” banner and was wondering if anyone or anyone associated with the group knows if there are plans for any other banners, flags etc for Sunday.

It's hard to see Rodgers and Tielemans staying if we do indeed finish 5th.

Take off those sh|t-tinted glasses, son!

Newcastle game was a bit off a one of to me. Southampton for sure. My point wasn't really that they're aren't a good set of players more that right now with a young rookie caretaker manager, the Kane situation, out of the CL spots, their mental situation is their to be exploited.

The more I think about this, the more I'm.convinced one of Liverpool or Chelsea will buckle under the pressure and draw.

They've both been hovering around fifth all.season for a reason, namely thier current teams just aren't quite good enough.

So it's up to us to dish out a proper  'Sunday night dinner' to Tottenham 😛

We go into the game believing we can still do it, get the win at Spurs and at least we would have done our part. 69 points is a great season even if it isn’t enough

Make no mistake, Roy will be desperate to piss all over liverpool's party on his last game. He felt very hard done by in his short spell there

Our focus needs to be on our game. Our form is poor. Focus. Win the game. Hope the others slip up. That’s all we can hope for. 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

Hope to god that Soyuncu has applied to the FA for his 'Rudiger Pass'

.....so he can kick seven shades of sh*t out of Kane, and not recieve a single card or warning.

I personally think at least one of the 3 of us will lose. Just hope it's not us.

Only way to he certain though is go for they goal difference.

Double figures ought to do it i reckon

It is out of our hands. And as you say, it is up to us to dish out to Spurs, but we could end up losing, just like how we expected to beat West Ham, Newcastle or Southampton. So even if Liverpool or Chelsea drop points, it may not matter. Quite sad but I have no optimism anymore.

I think we can expect another v pragmatic approach from the manager

no way will we go for goals in an attempt to close out Liverpool’s goal difference .....our best chance is to just get any win we can and hope that the other two don’t both win.  Going for lots of goals would mean we run the risk of not controlling our game (which is something we know BR hates).  Remember that 5-4 loss at Wembley - 4-2 up away and losing the game. That’s the kind of game that would make Brendan apoplectic!

Expect the 3 atb again and maybe Ricky could get the nod on the right ahead of Marc .....ayo behind kel and vards

I'd like to see Ricky back in action, he was the only bright spark in our performance when he came on against Chelsea and he almost setup the equaliser.

Technically it's not out of our hands. Score 10 or more against Spurs and we finish above Liverpool. 😁

How'd that work out for you last year?

Sure, one of them could slip.  But they're who they are for a reason, and in addition to clubs who expect to be in the CL (which ours clearly doesn't) they're simply both better than we are on the pitch at the moment.  A lot better.

Really good point. Can’t remember the last time we beat either of them
