Reverse for this scoreline tomorrow and us to be in CL on goal difference 😉

As the saying goes, football's a funny ol' game. There was point 2017/2018 after we'd won the league and we were struggling to find our identity again, changing managers and losing key players. Spurs looked to be stepping up to that level we wanted to achieve after the title. CL games and a CL final. Poch' was a young exciting manager, they had a brand new stadium. A couple of seasons later look at the difference! They're barely a team, their talisman is probably on his way out, no manager, a MASSIVE debt, scrapping to get into the Europa qualifying league.... they still have the stadium I guess. Their fans must feel privileged to pay £60+ to see such a wonderful piece of architecture.

I would love us to tonk these. Kane will score. But hopefully so will Vardy. I really hope Nacho can get on the scoresheet so we can go mental and show him the love for what he's done for us over the last 4-5 months.

Would be surprised if the fans lucky enough to be going tomorrow don't receive some goodies from the club.

A Harry Kane hattrick pin badge

6-0 might do it.

On the other hand...

Come on Villa. Don’t let Chelsea win and this might be a goer.

If Villa hold Chelsea to a 1-1 draw and we are able to win 1-0......Sounds so simple I know!

Take off those sh|t-tinted glasses, son!

Well obviously I don't want that to be the case and I'm hoping we win and Villa hold or beat Chelsea.

Quick glance through a pile of Spurs forums suggests they don’t expect much. More interestingly, many are hoping to lose and wishing us well. Admittedly, more due to a loathing of Chelsea, but who cares?!? Their total dismay at where they’re at is something else.  One of their team selections was absolutely brilliant. Should have copied/pasted  it, but it went something like this -

Doesn’t want to be here

He couldn’t  care less

Doesn’t know what he’s doing

Wants out

Gets any fatter, his next holiday is by container ship

Wants out

Needs kicking out

Needs kicking

etc etc.

What a depressing bunch they are over there. Can't remember ever feeling that bad as a Leicester fan even watching the dross Pleat was serving up in the early 90's or during the dark times in the mid 2000's!

Interesting most of them calling for Kane to be dropped, which won't happen as Levi will see the Conference League as an opportunity to surpass the heights of winning the Audi Cup.

lads just ned to focus on one thing tomorrow. Go out and give them a real hiding. They will not be up for a major battle with us no way no how. First 15 min is huge to let them know the temp of this game. Kane & co will be worried about staying fit so man city come in for him and making sure he does'nt get crocked before the Euros start. That in itself will swing the pendulum. They are not gonna come at us like Chelski did instead will be looking to counter when they can. Cags and Foffers need to play tight but smart in this game don't give silly fouls away in dangerous areas. Kane doesn't need to be gifted right in front of goal. Make him sweat for it and nullify the threat. Also Vardy needs to pick on Regulon! He was an absolute disaster against Villa and will still be wobbling if pressured.

I thought Rogers spelled out his strategy pretty clear yesterday. Get the early goal and see how spuds respond. If they open up then go for the jugular but be smart. Bang in the goals quickly and their pants will drop. (Then we wait and see what happens at Villa park and Anfield.)

So apart from completing the health questionnaire what else is needed to get in other than the e-ticket?

No mention of lateral flow tests or photo I'd?

Getting into the top four was always going to take time. We are improving, if we don’t do it this season we will have won the FA cup and just lost out in the champions League on the final day of the season.

let’s have some perspective.

It's been a very good year overall & Brendan will make some additions & we will be even stronger next season.

Morgan, Albrighton, Vardy and Schmeichel did the business at Wembley.

Schlupp will now do the business at Anfield.

It is written.

Hattrick of missed sitters maybe!

I hate berating any of our players especially with such a good season, but there is only so much you can take... that chance against Chelsea is a sitter for a professional you practice that type of finish all the time. To not even hit the target was so frustrating

Shakespeare will perform a coaching masterclass involving two balls for the Villa against Chelsea too!!
