Not sure what a new manager can come in and do when there’s nobody in the squad with any pace, any creativity or let’s be honest any technical ability - they can’t put 3 passes together.

Credit to how well they’ve defended at times, especially against sides as good as Chelsea and Arsenal but they just can’t get out, hold the ball or score goals.

The game vs Birmingham next weekend is huge along with the upcoming transfer window, our willingness to invest could be the difference maker.

Exactly - next week's game with Birmingham would be a much better choice, but looks like it's only going to be on FA Player.

It’s also on at the KP :D

Would be good to have a big crowd for this to hopefully push them onto victory.

I watched the game today and unfortunately the Leicester ladies were shocking. The gulf between the premier league and the championship must be an absolute chasm. The only reason it wasn’t a cricket score was because at times Arsenal couldn’t hit a donkey’s arse with a banjo.

system is the same they have tried to play most of the season and clearly doesn't work and having a line as high as that is suicide

....I am sure they have recently changed the way we play, as in the last game Morgan managed , we looked very well structured and organised!!!

We looked well drilled, the backline was a bit too high and with our team there is a great lack of pace all round. It seemed we were at last coming to terms with the league but we conceded very late in the game and added to our loss column. The way we setup and played in that game was far removed from the start of the season and it would have been interesting to see where we could take the new style of play.

We are always going to be at the mercy of this league due to a lack of pace all round, and I am sure had we a player in the backline or upfront with a bit of speed, we could have exploited some defences and not constantly being caught out with a ball over the top or a ball played in between  our Centre Backs..If we could retain our WSL status, next seasons recruits will have to bring the right experience, and especially pace in all departments, it is the overriding force in the WSL and we need to address it as a matter of some urgency.

Should be trying to get as many as possible down there behind them, might make the difference.

Agreed. First time watching them yesterday and i could not believe what i was watching. They would get the ball back and just kick it aimlessly away. They looked scared to have the ball. Mind you, Arsenal weren't much better and should have scored about 200. In all, an evening of terrible standard football

Charlie Devlin is their most creative player, was on the bench fresh back from an injury but even when fit Morgan wasn't using her because they keep trying to play this 343, they did change a few times but only because it was forced

....I had the same reaction that you had the first time I saw them!!!

The start of the season was an eye opener and it was as if you were watching a under 12 girls team playing against senior players. Every aspect of their game was poor, the basics were not there, and struggled to compete in anyway.

Morgan's last game had them set up well, with a good structure, I was not able to watch the game yesterday but listened in on the F A Player and it seems they have gone back to the way they were previously setup.

The Birmingham game should be interesting, a massive game and potentially season defining. I think we should go back to setting up with the two banks of 4 and have 2 upfront. Not all teams are Chelsea or Arsenal, we need to build some type of confidence throughout the club and team, if Birmingham could bring someone in to their team we will have great problems.

I went to the game tonight as it’s about 10 mins walk from my house. One way traffic for 90 mins. Arsenal missed multiple easy chances

Suppose it makes us appreciate how bad things could be. New manager saying the usual lines before KO ... morale is good in the squad...no chance!

Leicester City v Birmingham City: Will it be WSL relegation decider?

Birmingham City sit one point above bottom side Leicester City in the WSL table
Two clubs fighting relegation, two new managers and two sides searching for their first Women's Super League win this season - Leicester and Birmingham have everything to play for.

The two sides go head-to-head in Sunday's mouthwatering WSL clash at the foot of the table.

"It's going to be exciting," Leicester City captain Sophie Barker told BBC Sport. "When there's new managers, teams always seem to raise their game. It's the same for both teams this time.

"We're in exactly the same position except they have one more point than us. We really need to go out there and prove why we deserve to stay in this league."

New Leicester City boss Lydia Bedford said the game is a "tasty" one but has urged her players not to "put all their eggs in one basket", insisting they have other opportunities to pick up points this season.

But midfielder Barker admitted it was going to be a "massive occasion" at King Power Stadium and it's up to the experienced players like herself to help control the team's emotions.

"It's very important for both teams. This league is very difficult," she added. "We know the occasion and how big it will be and we're under no illusions as to how hard it will be either.

"We will probably see a cagey 10 minutes because there will be nerves out there. Even when you go into it thinking you're not nervous, when you step out on to the pitch and the whole crowd is there, it does become nerve-wracking.

"It's important for us to settle the girls down. It might be new to them. We're quite composed on the ball and hopefully come Sunday we will be that calming influence for the team."

Barker also hopes Leicester can bag three points as an early Christmas present - and in her case a joint-birthday gift.

"My birthday is on Christmas Day as well so it couldn't come soon enough! If we can get the win it will give us good momentum going into the Christmas break and the new year on a positive note.

"It's not the be-all and end-all in our season so we need to stay positive regardless of the result. But we believe that we can go and win it."

Birmingham boss Darren Carter said his Christmas dinner will be much better with a glass of wine to celebrate a victory, but insisted the result would "not define the season".

"It was always going to be the case that it would be hyped up as a six-pointer," he told BBC Sport.

"We still have half of the season to go after it though. It's a game that you want to play in. There's hype around it and we'll have to handle that.

"The players are hungry for success and to get that first win on the board. We'll be going out there gunning for that. It's going to be great. Two teams competing and going for their first win - it will be an exciting game I'm sure."

Carter, who is a lifelong Birmingham City fan and a former player at the club, said he was excited to be part of such a big game as a head coach.

"It's what it's all about. As a player, a coach or even as fans you want to come to a game where there's a lot riding on it and there's that edge," he added.

"It's what you're in the game for. It would be nice if we were fighting at the top end of the table, but we are where we are and we need to fight for points.

"The best team will win on Sunday and we're hoping it's us."

You can tell the journalists are trying their hardest to not mention the ridiculous nature of the league and fail to note that Birmingham sit one point a head of a pointless Leicester on only one point themselves!

Without a bit of investigation you'd think Birmingham on 10 points and Leicester on 9 or something.
