But they won't come on for England there.

 

Majority of the time Rashford has played on the wing. Sterling is playing better just behind the striker.

It’s a similar thing to why we weren’t dropping Vardy when he was out of form.

 

Yet, for whatever reason, Southgate’s setup in such a way it negates Kane’s effectiveness. 
 

The way we’re playing, I’d say we’d be better off with a false 9.

When you are playing tight and looking to carve them open you need a striker who takes the chances… kane had a golden opportunity but instead of hitting it tried to round the goalie and played it too far in front

Should be said, regardless of the heavy touch, it was great defending from who else but Hummels.
