Why do the BBC have to put that German in as a pundit?

Always being impartial and balancing it out, I’m fairly sure that no former English player is on the TV at half time in Germany.

Improved after a worrying start but still lack real creativity on the ball. Done ok though. Germany look like they could get in and score at any point.

Not a chance Kane is brought off at HT. As much as he should be, it won't happen. Southgate doesn't have the balls to do it. The fact he's left DCL out of the squad gives Kane a free run at being a striker.

It's been a good performance to be fair. Kane just doesn't look fit. His lack of mobility stuffs up the system.

I think he is telling him to not try to add to the midfield, he needs to drop in allow Saka and Sterling to run in front
