If he were luegue 1 I'd take more notice notice given time left in window and to get an agreement plus question marks over him. He's probably another Captain Phillips infiltrator.

Is there actually a link to us for this guy? Aside from that Mercury article saying he is a reported target I don’t see anything...

Going off that video, never seen such a one footewd player. Watched 5 mins and he literally hasn't touched it once on his right foot. You've got to be insanely quick or the best dribbler in the world to get away with that.

Ric Flair’s famous relatives from France are the link.

....intelligent with it as well, always looking for the person in a better position and shooting when the opportunity arises!!!

You have to take a look at this and wonder if Demarai say the game in this way, would he have become the player we all (or at least some) thought he would become.

There is a breakaway in that video where he is put clear on the left and he has a supporting player making the run into the box, I expected to see him drive into the box, pull the sole defender to him and lay it on a plate for his striker to score. Instead he plays it quickly all along the floor with a bend on the ball so the keeper can't come and it is out of the reach of the defender. He really understands the game and has real talent.

Duh. He’s leaving France so it’s obvious he’s coming here

Will have to go to the Exceptions Panel to get a Work Permit, I think he will only have 10 of the 15 points needed to be given one

We're ****ed then? Noni it is. More expensive though.

Just been thinking about the new transfer rules and there's been some deals go through that I don't think would have qualified.

1) Mosquera at Wolves

2) Ababa at Celtic

I assume the transfer rules are the same for the rest of Britain as they are for England given its post Brexit.

For Mosquera - Colombian League is Band 4, Atletico Nacional also played in the Copa Libertadores

2 points for his league play time

3 points for his team winning the league

6 points for band of his club (Atletico Nacional)

8 points for his play time in Copa Libertadores

19 Points Total, above the 15 points required for a GBE

For Ababa - Scottish FA appear to have their own set of rules which may be slightly different, but honestly not a clue haha probably went to the exceptions panel to get that one through, basically like what we ended up doing with Kramaric, which would could still do with Adli

Aaaah I didn't think he'd played in the Copa Libertadores last season, I think last years competition doesn't show up as 20/21.

Wouldn't surprise me as SPL is worse than the Championship who are finding it difficult to sign foreign players. Surprised it was agreed though, wasn't this from the government down to the FA's and then the PL, EFL and SPL etc.

Not sure if it happens anymore but I seem to remember that when it used to go to the exceptions panel transfer fees and wages would have an influence, although only £3.5m, that is still quite high for the Scottish Leagues and could help push him into some threshold, and with the reported interested from a lot of clubs before Celtic signed him there is that whole "exceptional talent" thing as well

No clue if those factors are still looked at by an exceptions panel but would be the only way I could really see why they managed to sign him

Can’t find the article and it’s probably rehashing us and Arsenal because we were linked before but interesting to see our name popping up with him again.

this, but it doesn’t mention any teams other than Milan, this guy has just added the names based on previous reports I guess, as you said. But their chairman says he is leaving.

EDIT: he probably just read this https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.hitc.com/en-gb/2021/07/27/hell-leave-president-is-convinced-reported-arsenal-and-leicester-target-will-be-sold/%3famp?espv=1

Reading through this HITC article...

It looks like the Tolouse president has just recently said Adli is definitely leaving this summer, so this is more of an update. And previously Tutto Mercato had mentioned us back in June:

https://m.tuttomercatoweb.com/serie-a/tmw-il-milan-vuole-bruciare-la-concorrenza-pronta-l-offerta-per-adli-talento-del-tolosa-1544686

Basically, someone is just putting two stories together and suggesting it means something. It probably doesn't. But would be nice if it did!

So we can't buy him because he needs a visa and he probably doesn't want to play in Belgium until he can get one? Yeah? Yeah. Great.

Oh look another hot thread with nothing of substance.

Isn’t that 90% of our transfer topics every transfer window.

His goals and assists at a league possibly worse than the top Belgian league aren't much better than Kamal Sowah's. I'd like Sdli here as he's got a skill set that will improve and be good enough for one of the big leagues but he's still very much a work in progress like Sowah.
