Couldn't see a thread for this match.

 

Quite intriguing I think.

 

Croatia are an aging team, who haven't played well so far this tournament, but still have some class players.

 

Spain aren't a patch on what they were between 2008 and 2014.

 

What is it with the Spanish playing a false 9? Play a bloody striker. They'd kill for an in-form Fernando Torres. 

 

Can see Spain nicking it, but don't see them as a threat to win the tournament.

 

Tough side of the draw.

They play Morata. He's not a false 9 but he does fail to deliver for someone of Spain's standard.

Moreno has been the in-form striker all season for Villarreal but gets shifted out of position because Enrique prefers Morata.

 

I fancy Spain to win but I can't see it being a pretty game at all.

I'm with you. Spain rather like Holland yesterday are massively over rated by the bookies, so I'll probably roll my Czech Republic winnings onto Croatia. 

 

Saying that sods law that Morata gets a knock on his noggin, gets amnesia and starts to believe he's actually a decent striker.

Wouldn’t surprise me to see Croatia win either, yes Spain ran riot against Slovakia but that performance from Slovakia was pub team like it was the worse of any team in the tournament. Spain didn’t mesmerise me.

I remember at the last Euros I won my biggest bet to date on betting Morata to score first, Croatia to win...

 

...Worth another go I reckon.
