StanSP Posted 4 August 2021 Posted 4 August 2021 Gonna say it now he'll be out for the season by the looks of it but get well soon Lil Wes 🙌🏾
car1os Posted 4 August 2021 Posted 4 August 2021 (edited) I reckon 6 months. Double leg break (tibia and fibula), just hope it’s not an open fracture (ie bone sticking through skin). That’s a nasty, cynical challenge by the Villarreal player Edited 4 August 2021 by car1os 2

darko2k7 Posted 4 August 2021 Posted 4 August 2021 So gutted for him . fuming with the challenge in pre season game . That player as done that for revenge after getting fouled a minute before and as gone and broke his ****ing leg
StriderHiryu Posted 4 August 2021 Posted 4 August 2021 Will be out for the season, such a travesty. Totally reckless challenge by Fer Nino. It's a friendly for ****s sake! 3

AKCJ Posted 4 August 2021 Posted 4 August 2021 It's definitely a leg break but let's hope he's not royally ****ed his bones, tendons and ligaments along with it.
420Hashish Posted 4 August 2021 Posted 4 August 2021 Saw the replay. Seems to be a complete break and absolutely horrible to look it
southfox66 Posted 4 August 2021 Posted 4 August 2021 Looked absolute sickner, was no need for their player to make that challenge its an ffing friendly :(

From the little we saw of the challenge there wasn't any bone but it looked so so bad with how it twisted as the foot was planted.

Usually if the bone breaks at the level of the ankle a lot of the ligaments will be intact (at least attached to the broken bits!). Bone heals better than soft tissue and most important thing is he gets a good operation to fix it. If he has a high fibular fracture that’s more of an issue Edited 4 August 2021 by car1os
Legend_in_blue Posted 4 August 2021 Posted 4 August 2021 Someone needs to smack that Villareal player in the face. Disgusting challenge. 3
Cincinnati Fox Posted 4 August 2021 Posted 4 August 2021 Let’s hope It’s just the bone/s and not ligaments too. what a stupid ****!
OntarioFox Posted 4 August 2021 Posted 4 August 2021 It snapped. He 'aint coming back from that for months. The only silver lining is - we got solid years from Wasilewski not long after he'd suffered a similar injury. Players can come back from it, and Little Wes has the benefit of youth on his side too. Still, sickener. Had enough of seeing stuff like that after the Euros. 1
Popular Post CloudFox Posted 4 August 2021 Popular Post Posted 4 August 2021 I've had to stop watching the game. That's done me, just completely sucked my interest out of it. Really hope Wes is okay. 7

CrispinLA in Texas Posted 4 August 2021 Posted 4 August 2021 So horrible and nasty, for f**** sake it's a friendly, lost all interest in the game. Uefa should look at that challenge.
