i noted at one of the Wembley euros games that they were playing the after match music we nicked from Copenhagen or Bruges …..I think it was one of those two ….

Best match I’ve ever been to in terms of music, was Huddersfield away…. Absolute bangers Stone roses, Rolling Stones, oasis, smiths, blur Chelsea dagger etc etc….. I experienced it at Leeds too when I went with a mate to watch a home game. Our match day music is odd…. It went through a phase of being really good, then it went a bit shite and now it’s indifferent…… get the classics out, o want my melon twisted man!  
 

 

Oh, and I’m willing to Chuck a tenner on that they will play sweet Caroline….. bet they will….

Yeah...it's properly exciting innit, yeah.

 

I think it's hard to go against picking the same team that won the Community Shield against Manchester City.

I'd like to see a bigger consideration of rotation though, mainly because I really want to see Daka get going. 

 

Big games for Maddison and Perez, they both need to silence a little of the clamour surrounding them, particularly Perez.

With so many options available right now, patchy games are practically impossible to remain in the starting 11.

I can't believe I'm saying it but my concern bar Perez is knowing what to do with Vardy. How long do we give him if he isn't performing before we get Daka on?

Madders is going to have a big one this season, I can feel it. 
 

All Patson needs to do is find the onion bag when he plays….. as soon as he does Rodgers will turn to him as the main man….. and I’ve got every confidence he will, he’s looked terrifying in pre-season, in terms of his pace, aggression and willingness to put himself in where it hurts. As soon as he gets a sniff he’s going to be electric….. absolutely buzzing for this season…. Can’t wait to watch us pick Man City’s high line apart again in a few weeks.

I don't agree that he was excellent, but there was a moment that he did impress me though. It was when he took the ball, barged back a bit and he didn't go down, he showed that he has got some strength back, I thought okay...let's hope that continues.

However, I do agree that he's going to start this season well, he doesn't have a choice really. 

 

Yeah...the Vardy / Daka conundrum. The interview that ITV did with him pretty much explained that I think, he's hungrier than ever but is conscious of the fact it's a team game at Leicester now, that's how I took it. 

You know just as well as anyone, we can only write him off when he's in Gilroes.

another fantastic option for formation, however there's going to be no uncertainty about where Barnes fits in. The position he's playing in is untouchable, for now. 

Barnes / Daka / Iheanacho would be the dream ticket in a 4-3-3 if it could work, if.

I dont think you can knock the enthusiasm of Union FS and what they are trying to achieve. Some of the tifos etc they have organised have been pretty good. But I do understand what you're saying. Whether intentional or not, they do come across a tad condescending and elitist sometimes like we won't have any atmosphere if we don't follow their lead. Like I say though, I'm not sure it's necessarily intentional.
