He looks like he has the arrogance of a top player - hence he won’t be scared of competing with Bowen and benrahma for playing time … He's in a seemingly stable relationship and has just become a father. At 24yo as well he should probably be thinking about his career and family life rather than partying. It won't be long before his career hits the half way point.

Deeg67 Posted 28 August 2021 Posted 28 August 2021 100K followers so presumably not a Sean from the "coffee shop" account. Loan with an option would be ideal, but I'd do an outright buy if necessary. This squad is horrifically unbalanced. We're crying out for width, left-footedness, creativity and - frankly - attitude. And Neres seems to check all those boxes. 1

UHDrive Posted 28 August 2021 Posted 28 August 2021 Choudhury and Mendy need to go and fast. I'd keep Praet incase we play 3/4 in right of midfield as we only have KDH (excluding soumare who plays centrally). Neves is crucial, we must buy him ASAP. Can you imagine if he got injured too though 🙈. We all know the background to Neves, but with a player like him (attitude/ego) I think he'll thrive in the PL. Its psychological for these players too because if you throw in a good salary package and a top notch training facility then you're bound to feel content and grounded which for someone like him is a lot more pressure free life.

FoxesWalk Posted 28 August 2021 Posted 28 August 2021 (edited) Basically a rehash of the previous story, but it’s interesting that after success in CL, and his price tag rocketing, he chose to sign a new contract and stay at Ajax over lucrative offers to join clubs like Man United... Maybe he is more grounded than his reputation suggests? https://www.teamtalk.com/news/leicester-brazilian-winger-david-neres-transfer-latest Edited 28 August 2021 by FoxesWalk

FoxesWalk Posted 28 August 2021 Posted 28 August 2021 Lyon journalist says they aren’t in for Neres and begging fans to stop asking him about it 🤣 that’s another potential suitor gone. 3

Ajax have about 4 left footed wingers, Daramy is a right footed winger who prior to this season played on the right but since Copenhagen shifted him to the left he's been very good. Neres is being allowed to leave because Antony is the 1st choice right winger with Berghuis challenging him. Ajax and Neres agreed once he was back to full fitness and with the acceleration of Antony's progression that he should leave.
