Pre injury Neres was probably the best South American winger coming through and his off the field persona and reputation doesn't fit his game. He's a hard working, full octane runner who defends well and creatively is good. It's no guarantee he's the missing link here but if we are serious about getting him and build him in to our team and stick with him then he could be frightening. 3

Neves is technically better than both. Beradi is the better team player, but the worst technically. Puts a shift in but has good quality too. But not world class quality, that's why although he started for Italy in the Euros, Chiesa took his position, even though Chiesa has a lot of learning to do. He'd still be very good here mind you! Probably the one that would make the biggest short term impact. Perez but with much better attacking play. Madeuke looks to be the one with the most flair of the 3, but also the most unproven given he's only played a handful of games compared to the others. 1

There's no way we haven't got the money IMO as long as it's the right player. You don't invest hundreds of millions into the club's infrastructure and then have your kegs pulled down over 10 or 20 million here or there surely...? We're shrewd. If it's the right player we'll get him. If we don't, it won't be because of finances IMO. 2

We cannot register another player without excluding 2 of Praet, Mendy and Choudhury. Don't forget our wages to revenue turnover is atrocious and although we probably have the ability to structure a new signing of significance its very difficult to keep stretching the wage budget, especially when there's folk on here telling us Praet is on 90k a week and Choudhury 60k. We are desperately trying to get them off the books. 6

We can't register all our players as things stand, so it's hard to justify bringing more in when it means you're adding another to the list of players you're paying who you can't use. 1

Probably is an element of that, especially with Rodgers dropping in the "we don't have a bottomless pit of money" line in every interview he does. If we really are relying on getting decent fee's for the likes of Hamza and Praet to secure transfers then we're in trouble. Could be more about registration and clearing the wage bill by loaning a couple of players out. .
