This is what Police events tweeted lollol

Thought that tweet would come back to bite them. Would think a few defence lawyers might be interested in that account passing comment on the behaviour of those arrested too. Not sure it's strong enough but there's an argument that it would be prejudicial and therefore Contempt of Court.

I noticed that yesterday when the video was going round. Incredibly odd scene, almost like they daren’t touch them.

Im sure they will have been told to not lay hands on the Napoli lot as if that was to happen you would see a full stand rush at them. That being said I was surprised seeing the video how not too many of their lot back up their own against the police when they were throwing digs.

The tweets off that account last night were imo pathetic.

Seems to be in competition with his mate up at Derby (See the tweet he posted about Stone Island) to see who can come up with the most moronic tweets

The policing inside the stadium was really poor. If you’ve just announced to a few hundred Italian ultras that they’re going to be kept inside and either a) be sitting ducks for home fans on the way out or b) not able to get out and have their go at people after the game then at least flank the away end with some police on either side of the segregation.

Would be interesting to hear how police forces that have been more used to policing European fixtures over the last 10 years viewed that operation last night. It felt like a police force getting a bit of a rude awakening that Europe will throw up a different type of challenge and them being caught a little cold by it.

There was around 15 police running down Raw Dykes from Aylestone Road on the way out, I guess they were expecting trouble there not in the stadium.

Was surprised none of the cops were in riot gear tbf.

Whenever we’ve played Derby or Forest they’ve in not so recent years they’ve all had helmets etc

Honestly don't know what these idiots get out of it. If you want to fight, join an amateur boxing/kick boxing/whatever else club. If you want to watch football and support your team then do that! Don't mix the two! Drug/drink fueled most likely. Idiots.

One of those games where I was glad I ducked out two minutes before the final whistle. It was odd because in many ways it was the best atmosphere there's been in the KP for ages, and there were so few away fans relative to a normal game.

I was in the family stand, but its has been rearranged so its no longer directly next to the away fans on either side. Only P1 and P2 (I think) make up the family stand, so the away fans seem more distant.

They should keep L1 and the away end of family stand for season ticket holders only or don't bother filling it. Loads of new faces in L1 last night throwing bottles, coins, lighters. Both sides were as bad as each other. I was hit with a bottle, which is always a lovely experience. I felt for people who were with their kids last night

Yeah the guy that got bundled over by the Leicester bloke in the white t-shirt got pulled down into the concourse I think and no one tried to stop it, which is surprising behaviour from Europeans.

Because then they'd actually be in a fair fight instead of attacking randoms with makeshift weapons.

Happened against Sevilla too. Really naive policing after the game and their group Biris Norte were basically given free roam to attack Leicester fans outside the away end.

Police here are just so used to bigging up how bad English "problem" fans allegedly are that it's a shock to them when genuine headcases from abroad turn up and act the way they do.

Can you imagine the Italian/Russian/Polish police doing the same? Me neither.

Normally European away ends have a line of riot police surrounding them. Napoli are arguably the worst in Europe for indiscriminately attacking fans so netting as the only type of segregation was really short sighted. As for the police only piling into Leicester fans after they've retaliated against one of their fans with a cosh :glare:
