probably all of them! Especially when there are high stakes. Used to love watching "Who Wants to be a Millionaire" back in the day. it's one thing to know the answer to a £500,000 question sat on your sofa with nothing at stake but I wonder how "sure" you would be of the answer if you're sat there in the chair? Must be very easy to doubt yourself even if you think you know the correct answer!

Reckon I could win a couple of hundred thousand on Millionaire as long as I didn't get something on music. Wanted to go on Uni Challenge but didn't make the cut at my uni trials.

I struggle to understand half the questions on University Challenge, let alone know the answers to them

I often know the history and geography ones but not as quick as the contestants. The science questions I just zone out on.

University Challenge is usually a bit beyond me unless its maths, but I do love a bit of Only Connect. Managed to (at least) keep pace score-wise with most of the teams in the current series by myself, although again there's the argument that its a bit easier when you don't have a camera pointing at you. The music questions are usually my cue for a bathroom break, though lol

I like Countdown too, although I've not watched the 'normal' version of that in a long long while. I'd be tempted to apply, but I'm so inconsistent and some days I do really well and then the next day I'd look like a high-school drop-out - and I know exactly which one would turn up in front of the cameras lol

I get the odd question on University Challenge. Most categories I'm so-so at, however anything arts and literature I'm hopeless.

Only Connect is great, and I can be pretty decent at it. I'm nowhere near socially awkward enough to get onto a team though.

Countdown I'm absolutely woeful, and I mean WOEFUL at. I genuinely think I'm missing a connection somewhere in my brain that allows me to construct words from random letters or solve anagrams. I don't even attempt to give answers when watching 8 out of 10 cats does..., as blurting out three letter words just gets embarrassing after a while.

Catchphrase i would piss. Get loads right well before anyone else

Tipping Point questions are pretty easy

The Chase i would fancy myself to get around 5K.

I always watch classic Millionaire in bed before i go sleep. Easy viewing. I find myself doing quite well. Im surprised at the amount of questions before £1000 that i find myself not knowing though. £1000 - £32000 i tend to do quite well but the mega easy ones i stumble lol. I suppose thats due to me being young when those episodes aired. The easy questions on todays Millionaire are more geared up to my generation (thats my excuse anyway lol)

My mate won £125,000 on Who Wants to be a Millionaire a few months back.

Think I'd go with that. Easy enough to get a fair wedge of cash. Early questions are simple and then use some lifelines later.

I was thinking this the other day - in classic millionaire there are quite a few old fashioned sayings in the 100-1000 pound questions that I'm unsure about. But then a question for 32k or something comes along that's like "Bratislava is the capital of...". Perhaps it reflects changing attitudes and interests.

My memory has gone now so I wouldn't do any of them as it would most likely be a humiliating experience.  But I would have loved to have a go against the Eggheads.  I used to record then watch the shows and try to answer their questions, and about once every hundred goes I'd beat one of them (but never Kevin Ashman).

I've applied for Pointless but never heard back. :(

Fvck being on Only Connect. Love that show but always feel a headache coming on by the end of it.

I have just applied to Pointless! I have had two sets of friends show up on Only Connect, and both did fairly well, winning at least twice each. I could never do it: I am baffled by 90 percent of them, and find the host irritating.

This has been a totally pleasant topic to read...So comfortable without stats

& The Xgs..

Only connect/countdown are probably my favourites

The others,I would fall down on the TV-Soap ,etc..actors & programmes.I just don't watch them..never did..

Why don't they ask questions from

Discovery/,National-Geographic or

Smithodians

If they opened taskmaster up to us normos I’d love a bosh on it.

catchphrase I could smash.

deal or no deal reckon I’d pick the £250k straight off the bat.

goldenballs could be a laugh too stealing all the cheddar

Would your accommodation/travel costs get paid by the firm that manages the quiz show, or you just turn up at the studio at an arranged day and time?

Judith Keppel, the first £1mil winner used her ask the audience on "Which country was Tony Blair born? England, Scotland, Wales or N. Ireland?" which just seems common knowledge to me, but I guess back in 2000 or whenever it was done it wasn't.

Golden balls was brilliant, particularly the ending of each episode. You always knew that the nice contestants were going to get utterly screwed over if they got to the last two.

Wouldn't fancy Only Connect or University Challenge.

Would give pretty much anything else a go though.

Would like to go on Pointless, but the money is shite.

Loads of people have told me I should apply for Beat The Chasers.

Me and a mate applied to go on Million Pound Drop a few years ago, was all done with his contact details...he missed a call from them the day before filming. Tried calling the number back, but they never answered.

Would love a version of Question Of Sport for the general public. Think that would be pretty good.

Only Connect, I have good and bad days. I find I can compete if I’m feeling “on it”, but if I’m tired then I can’t get anything. University Challenge I find perplexing - I studied maths at uni, yet when they ask maths questions I usually haven’t a clue what they’re on about. The contestants have an amazing level of knowledge.

I like to think I’d do well at Countdown and can beat most contestants from the comfort of home. Millionaire - It’s that old adage that it’s all about the questions you get. Again I’d like to think I could push 6 figures but there’s often one question in there that smashes through your lifelines. I think tactics are underrated on there, frankly. Such as that I usually feel 50/50 is used way too early and on the wrong question. Would love to give it a go though.

One more: I don’t know if anyone’s seen The Hit List? Fun for music buffs. That’s one that I really struggle with. The speed that the contestants’ brains work at to get the answers, I find phenomenal.
