Lucien Favre for me ticks all the boxes, plays good football. Yes he hasn’t managed in the premier league before but he’s an astute manager, I would love Mancini here but that’s not likely.

I'm not an expert on the Bundesliga, but I did watch a few games of Dortmund when Favre was in charge, they had the defensive acumen of a cullender, so it would be more of the same!

Pep has a high opinion of every manager that plays stupidly open football

I actually think it will be Nuno. It will be far from inspiring but I don't think it would be a complete disaster.

It’d be like having Puel back. If we appoint a recently sacked PL manager we’re unimaginative and braindead

I can see it though. Given the amount it would cost to sack Rodgers, I can see them going for an uninspiring 'proven' manager that won't cost them anything.

If we made an enquiry for Bielsa do you think he’d be interested?
Would our fans take to him - seeing as he doesn’t speak English and they ripped Puel for speaking it with a heavy accent?

hope not, he's incredibly overrated. plus he's about 70 isnt he?

We wouldn't be bored to watch, but if we are complaining about being too open and making silly defensive mistakes now...

Jesse Marsch, Diego Martinez or Paulo Fonseca.

All available

Great manager, but it'd be worth it just for the reaction around here if we appointed a "soccer coach".

Is this your official application ??

I’ve just sent it off, my printer is broken so I’ve had to use a pen and paper, unfortunately the pen had run out of ink, so I’ve had to use a crayon (blue obviously) and my right hand is broken so I had to use my left. But I imagine it’s an improvement on recent CV’s received.

**** it, let's get in Jesse Marsch if Brendan goes. Young, hungry coach who knows Daka well and has plenty to prove to bounce back after parting ways with Leipzig.

Tends to play a 4-2-2-2 from what I remember as well, which could be best if we continue to not sign a first choice right winger. Daka and Iheanacho up front, Maddison and Barnes behind, Wilf and KDH/Youri at the base...and anyone who can defend + Evans at the back.

Bugs me when people say this. There’s absolutely nothing to show that the players have lost faith, if anything rodgers has probably lost faith in half the players. The players still speak highly of him in the post match interviews so I don’t think that’s the issue.

Well yeah there hardly going to come out and say he’s an arrogant stupid twat are they! He’s a deadman walking just a matter of tine now

Jesse definitely prefers two strikers, yes.

I think you are hugely under estimating our owners.

Why would they sack Rodgers for us being mediocre, to bring in someone mediocre?   You can see the logic behind every single appointment weve made. Puel, which was the example given was because he had a vision, a way to transform a counter attacking team to possession based football and he simply impressed them. It wasnt a big sam/ a pardew it was someone who they believed could rebrand the team.

The issue will always be who is available, but you can be absolutely sure that whoever they bring in, they will be doing as they think they can better Rodgers
