Watched Liverpool play villa this morning, what I noticed was when Liverpool came forward they had 8-9 players either inside or just out side villas penalty box and players were making little runs in and around , not like are lot who stand rooted to the spot . Then watched Manchester city and they done the exact same thing , now either Rodgers can’t coach that into the players or that just not good enough . Now remember with 8-9 players up that height they only have 1-2 defenders and a keeper yet they never really get caught out in defence, again either Rodgers can’t coach a defensive pattern or again there just not that good . My take Rodgers not either trying to coach that way or doesn’t have the know how

I’ve seen people behind there on match days. I know that if I contact them in advance they’ll have tickets waiting for collection, but not sure if today is too short notice. Or if my phone will even fit in the scanner.

This, even though I can easily watch both at the same time (tv/desktop pc for F1 + laptop for football + phone for live timing).

With injuries and form, this is the kind of game you just need to be very tight and organised at the back and then try to sneak a goal.

 

Unfortunately, being tight and organised at the back is our biggest issue currently.

 

Newcastle will be looking at our run of form, in addition to their previous win, and be the most confident and fired up they have been so far.

 

I wouldn't be suprised to see Newcastle come out and play really well today. Its amazing what confidence can do to a team.

 

2-1 Newcastle.

Surely that’s the beauty of the game. If you knew in advance it would reduce the excitement and anticipation.

I've always thought of Almiron as being an imposter to the Premier League. Always looks absolutely sh1t and hasn't scored or assisted at all this season.

 

We all know what happens next, the question is, do I bet my house or first born...
