I’m afraid I think we need to score early. I just have a really bad feeling about today.

Newcastle have had a week, a better manager than Bruce and they will be up for this. Just can’t see anything from this, I hate to say. I don’t want Rodgers gone and I certainly would want a convincing win.

We really should have scored after 2 mins in Naples but screwed that opportunity up royally.

Im not sure Rodgers can stay if we lose convincingly to Newcastle at home

Scoring early makes no difference to us, we have to then increase our lead or hold on to one for a decent amount of time otherwise its futile. We scored early last weekend and were still a disgrace.

Not a big fan of f1 and find most of the sport quite odd so I'll be spending most of the day shouting the result out.

It'll keep me entertained when the football is inevitably shit.

Was annoyed when watching Leicester last week that sky showed F1 live in a ad break, when I didnt want to know until I watched later.  They keep conflicting the schedules. :(

I wouldn't dream of missing this one if I'd not got Covid.

I think it's likely to be one poor and one totally out of confidence team which could be a recipe for a corker

(N.B Obviously it could also be a recipe for a sh*tefeast)

Does anyone remember December 1990?

Was that the one with the Kelly hat trick? Mick Quinn got one too. Ridiculously entertaining game but strewn with farcical errors. Yes, I see your point.

Alternatively, it'll be a drab none scoring affair from two sides desperately down on confidence and creativity. Saying that, Wilson always fancies a trip to the KP doesn't he.

5 - 4 and as you say a ridiculously entertaining game which came from no where really.

I seem to remember another 5 - 4 around this time but I'll keep quiet about that one

You just know that we’ll lose today, but with loads of players missing, and a dodgy VAR call.

No points, but BR will get a few more games as this one won’t count.

Given Rogers recent starting XI, Iheanacho would have been benched anyway (ludicrous IMO). Lookman, Vestergaard and Perez are shite anyway. When was the last time we saw Benkovic or Daley-Campbell get any minutes?

Will potentially effect our final 20 mins when it comes to subs. Nacho is probably our biggest problem when it comes to that.

Of course, I could be spouting absolute nonsense as I had my booster jab yesterday 😂😂

Perez has looked a lot better this season especially when he has played in his preferred 10 position. Lookman has looked good except for the Napoli game

Who doesn't have a bad feeling about this?

Yeah really annoying that.

I'll be at the match today and if I can get through not hearing fans talk about it and the PA person doesn't do anything stupid then it'll be radio silence on the way home and I'll replay later.

Big ask not finding out, especially if Lewis manages to win it.

I think today is a really interesting game. If it was Bruce I'd think we have a good chance of winning but I think Howe will realise that if they go at us, open the game up a bit there'll be plenty of goals for them.

Yes, we might get some goals too but Newcastle's best chance to win this is 4-3 not 1-0.

Of course anything can happen on the day, a team may have a bit of luck and so on...

I'll be very surprised if I see Newcastle sit back though.

It hasn't been much fun watching Leicester recently.  The frustrating moments heavily outweigh the moments of being impressed or hopeful.

We have the players to do well.   We know that.  But our concentration and defending have been poor.   After last season, I assumed we would be better with set pieces; we clearly needed to work on them.  You would accept a professional football club to address this; it is bread and butter stuff.   I. This the coaching staff are failing badly.

I hope we have worked on our defensive structure this week.   If we haven't, then Rodgers has to take responsibility.

For me there are players who have to play.

Evans has to play and lead the defence.  Ndidi has to play shielding the defence.  Tielemans has to play but he needs to play deeper and support Ndidi giving us a structure to build from.  For me, Maddison and Barnes have to play as they are our flair and threat.

Other positions are less clear to be, even the goalkeeper and centre forward.  For now, I would stick with Schmeichell and Vardy.

With a lack of serious contenders at centre back, I hope Soyuncu steps up and plays to his potential.

Lookman was awful last week.  Although I quite like him as a player normally, we can or afford to have a player cede so many set pieces.  I don't want to see Perez start so I want to see Albrighton who is more dependable.

We can't realistically make many changes.   I just hope we see the players play with commitment and professionalism.  As professionals , the players need to sort out the basics of defending.  I have had enough of thinking at 0-0, when we conceded a corner, I hope we equalize.

...at least you would see some players showing pride on the pitch!!!

It will certainly lift our atmosphere, backing the youngsters and wanting them to succeed outthere.
