Hopefully Vardy and Maddison will be okay too, as well as Barnes and Lookman added to that mix. Bit concerned about who we play up top of Vardy is injured / when we need to rotate him. Likewise, what do we do at centre half during ACON - Vestegaard and Soyüncu? Who’s due back first out of Evans and Soy?

Plus any players from the youth team don't count in the 25 registered so you'd just have to make do.

 

Not like you'd just have to get the Birch to come and stick a white flag on the centre circle at 3pm.

Luckily we don't have any fixture congestion this month and have 2 weeks off EPL games after Norwich, so should have a lot of players back by the Burnley game (Cags, Evans, Daka, Barnes and maybe jj on the bench by then). Surely the idiots running the PL won't force teams to fit the cancelled games in before then while clubs are still suffering the effects of the covid outbreaks

Not sure about Soyuncu and Daka. 3 weeks Rodgers said after Man City... Which is just after the Burnley game. 

Nonetheless the weeks rest in between games should help anyway.

I used to like the look of Barnes up front and centre. You could then also accommodate Lookman in his favourite position on the left

We know winter is more problematic, which means March by your logic, as what would be the point in starting back up prior to then.

Our focus should be getting 3 points on the board vs Norwich and wrapping up the festive period with another strong performance after last night's excellent win. We'll still have Ndidi, Amartey and Iheanacho for that, following which we have a full week to regroup before the FA Cup tie.

 

Whilst it would be a massive shame to bow out at the first hurdle in the Cup as defending champions, if we do because of the injury/covid crisis so be it. We will hopefully have bodies back for the Burnley game. Throw a potential January addition into the mix, and we could really hit the ground running from Burnley onwards.

'Reasonably experienced' youth players are also counted, whatever that means, but that will obviously include Thomas. Not sure if it would include VDC, Nelson, McAteer, or any others that have made a squad but either barely played or not played at all for the first team.

Apparently it's anyone that has played first-team minutes this year.

 

So VDC would count. Not sure if Nelson has played? McAteer came on against Newcastle so he's included.

Nelson hasn't played though he's been consistently included in the subs since the CB injury crisis hit.

Could we bring in the quality lads from the U23’s who show real quality Especially the lads that look pretty decent nothing like trial by fire blooding the lads that have never had Premier League experience and I think some may really shine if they get their chance !
