But there is NO law or rule?

The spineless government  cant or dont want to make a decision so people are rightly going about their lives the best they can.

Recommended to wear a mask in shops etc, but it's no rule?

How many you see down the city wearing a mask?

Am I missing something  here?

Sorry if I'm missing something but I'm not sure what you're complaining about here - they have made a decision: no further restrictions but exercise common sense.  Isn't that what you meant by 'can't stop living' in your previous post?

Probably the same expert who told us 5m would die , so to repeat the question, you won’t be attending and mixing with large crowds on Saturday or I guess anytime in the future then, or maybe you never attend anyway, just enjoy putting the boot in and moaning at every opportunity.

Pointless debating with you..I know you're type.

If I said I'd climbed Everest, you no doubt would have hang glided off the top!!

I'm off to listen to Stevie Wonder when 'Mr know it all' comes on you'll be in my thoughts!

Now all we need is for Brendan to be seen at the darts, Mike Bassett style, drunk in his underwear.

Have you never been the King Power , the concourse can hardly be classed as outside and it gets rammed prior to kick off.Just trying to figure out whether you are just a hypocrite.

I've been many many times! But suppose you're a much better supporter than me, far superior!!

You must be thick as two short planks if you've honestly convinced yourself that attending an all indoor event like watching darts with 3,000 drunks shouting and hollowing for hours on end, is as safe as a 90 minute outdoor football match with a small amount of time in a ventilated concourse!!

Unbelievable!!

You seriously need to just get a grip. There is nothing wrong with footballers going to the darts.

Can’t read that it’s just adverts pop ups and polls. Absolute joke of a website.

Bottom line: they didn’t seek permission because they didn’t need it. They’d been given the weekend off and were free to do as they pleased.

BIG SIGH....I'm complaining about the people complaining  about the players going to the darts event.

What are you  complaining about?

I'm just stating that where other national governments  have made a decision to do something  this inept bunch of money donors are just bumbling around like the leader they have. But let's leave this for the coronavirus thread as this thread is just stupid and whoever started it should see out a 3 game ban!

Happy new year.

I'm not complaining about anything, just pointing out that a decision has been made that I thought you'd agree with.  But as you say, let's leave it.  Happy New Year to you too and let's hope the coronavirus thread has dwindled into the past by this time next year.

One thing I've been wondering was whether we had lost some of the team spirit we seemed to have in 2015/16.

On the pitch the players often seem quite unhappy with each other. I'm glad to see at least a few of them get along well, and I hope they are playing for each other.

With the game called off, the City players were given the weekend off. In such circumstances, they do not need to seek the club’s permission to attend events, and going to the darts is seen by City as no different to the players going to a restaurant, football match or similar.
