With the game called off, the City players were given the weekend off. In such circumstances, they do not need to seek the club’s permission to attend events, and going to the darts is seen by City as no different to the players going to a restaurant, football match or similar.

Pathetic listening to TalkSport this morning (only did so as was driving) berating the Leicester players for attending a darts and that it was shocking behaviour.

What’s more, one of their own broadcasters was in the crowd last night lol

Aren't / weren’t they covering the darts!?

It must be a slow news day if this is still doing the rounds. It’s not like we’ve asked for any games to be postponed (to my knowledge).

First proper day off for them in probably two weeks (excepting the training ground closure). Gotta balance the ying with the yang. Start calling that ginger oaf out on mental health etc

Yes, and their presenters are attending which makes their "TalkSport people sacrifice everything for their jobs" argument slightly redundant.

Someone at the club should send a rumour out that we may look at asking for the Watford cup game to be postponed after a number of players tested positive after attending an event. The media meltdown would be glorious. lol

People still being fannies about this?

The most pathetic thing about this, is that seemingly anyone else in attendance isn’t getting a ribbing from the media, yet a couple of lads enjoying some time off are? Just because they’re footballers….

There are no restrictions anymore, so why the **** can’t they go? It’s up to the premier league to manage the situation, and it’s quite clear they don’t give a toss anyway, let them crack on, if I can go to the cinema, those lads can go to the darts.

I used to love talksport but since the latest take-over they have acted like the wokey brigade far too often for my liking.

Lets see the reaction here when 3 of them are ruled out of the next  game with a positive test .

Ah yes, another ‘covid what if’ post. What if they DON’T test positive, win us the next game and had a great night?

No issue, they’re entitled to do what they want, so if they get it, they get it…. You can pick it up anywhere so trying to suggest they’re being reckless isn’t fair.

Whilst there are no restrictions they can do as they please.

Was gonna say something like this but you’ve hit the nail on the head.
