You know this is an incredibly old fashioned and ill informed view of mental health. They get paid loads so they must be happy!

Having lots of money doesn't necessarily make your mental health stronger of course...but I bet it's better than having money worries (like a huge part of the population), that in turn causes many mental health problems?

Players welfare is a much broader issue than just mental health and I'd like to have a little bet that they have access to mental health councilling free of charge and be seen immediately!... most other people can't afford that or have no Access to it via the NHS. Professional footballers live a very privileged life and also should be role models for the kids and some adults that worship them.. that is why they are criticised and scrutinized when something like dartsgate comes into the public eye.

That’s easy for us to say, but for some.. this is all they have.

Taking away my 'like' because of this blatant rep farming

Tielemans is same age group as these lads but you never see him pictured anywhere. Man hasn't even got instagram or twitter.

And your point is?

And just like that he becomes my favourite player.

I've no problems with it, they have lives, they're living them.

What I do have problems with are games being called off and there should be stricter rules for what defines a game to be called off with little tolerance.

If players go out and test positive, tough - that's the case with anyone else, it's the chance you take, it's the situation you put yourself in - equally that's no one else's fault and whoever you work for have to do without you (Certainly in the case where you have to actually be there in your job - not able to WFH).

The one that really get's me is if players aren't vaccinated but have to isolate because they've simply come in contact with someone even if they've not tested positive well, I don't see why games should be called off because they're not available, that's just ridiculous.

Footballers or not - Let's take a little responsibility for ourselves.

After the Liverpool result they deserve a bit of down time doing something they enjoy, it also shows a bit of cohesion them being out together.

What you’re saying makes sense r.e money, but in my experience more money often brings more problems (I’m not trying to rap by the way). Especially mental health

Nothing wrong with it. Players need to be mentally fit to be able to perform at the highest level and if that involves letting off some steam with a few drinks then that's perfectly fine.

Are people not allowed to goto enjoy themselves or do we just sit at home until covid is over?

Any difference between them going to the darts or going boxing day sales in a choc o block Highcross when it comes to covid related threat?

Have they broken any laws about covid?

Are people on here so in the know, that they are sure the players have broken any club rules?

Are the lads p1ssed and causing havoc and tarnishing the clubs name?

Are people aware they have had a week off from football so cant they goto a public event?

Some people need to stop looking for a reason to hammer our players- get a fecking grip

To be fair the majority of our fans are backing them and showing common sense. It’s the twats from talksport that are pushing it to create an issue where there isn’t one. Oh and of course the scumbags from the Daily mail.

Was there 3,000 people in the pub?

So you know our players were mingling amongst the 3000 then? You seem very well informed.

By the way I will be on the concourse on Saturday mingling amongst thousands before the game , selfish again I know.

Guessing you won’t be attending.
