reynard Posted 2 January 2022 Posted 2 January 2022 legally, could they attend a nightclub with the right documentation? Yes Could they go to a pub and have a meal together? yes I don't see the difference> Maybe not the most intelligent thing to do right now given infection levels are so high but legally they haven't done anything wrong. Of course if it goes against club advice then that is a different matter and should be dealt with as such. 1

And thanks am fully aware of what’s happening with Omicron, I went to a packed pub yesterday, and yes I know I was very selfish. Was there 3,000 people in the pub?

Presume they got permission as KDH is there and he's a good rule following lad, same for Fofana holidaying in the Maldives. WHAAAT!!! HOW HAS THIS BEEN ALLOWED TO HAPPEN??? IM OUTRAGED!!!

adejo92 Posted 2 January 2022 Posted 2 January 2022 If they turn up to training on time, pass the intense fitness tests etc etc then who really cares if they have a few drinks and go out and enjoy themselves from time to time. It's quite nice to see that we have a group of players who are close in and out of football. Our title winning season was like a bunch of mates having a kick around every week, it didn't do any harm then! Yes, we are not where we should be this season but that's for reasons much more complex and in depth than players going to watch a game of darts.

Finnaldo Posted 2 January 2022 Posted 2 January 2022 43 minutes ago, weller54 said: Was there 3,000 people in the pub? Yet the pub probably had people wondering around, standing shoulder to shoulder. The darts are separate seated tables, and they were in a VIP section separated from the majority of folks there. As said previously, probably less likely to catch it here than in a busy supermarket. 1

Popular Post grobyfox1990 Posted 2 January 2022 Popular Post Posted 2 January 2022 Lol people seriously comparing themselves going to events to a premier league footballer. They have been chauffeured in, sat in a VVVVIP area, table service then chauffeured straight home. If you think they’ve been in the Wetherspoons singing we all hate Leeds, got on the Victoria line with a 4 pack then sat a table of 10 singing the toure song before sharing an Uber pool to shaku Zulu in Camden..well then just wow… 8

Koke Posted 2 January 2022 Posted 2 January 2022 Tielemans is same age group as these lads but you never see him pictured anywhere. Man hasn't even got instagram or twitter.
Tielemans63 Posted 2 January 2022 Posted 2 January 2022 I'm disappointed there weren't more of our boys there. A full team outing would have been great to see. 1
Glorious Leicester Fan Posted 2 January 2022 Posted 2 January 2022 They haven’t broken any rules. NO ONE should be made to feel personally responsible for a pandemic that keeps spreading due to morally reprehensible decisions of this Government.

Sorry but right at this moment in time it's very bad and immature judgement to attend an indoor event with 3,000 drunks!! Anyone defending them need to read what's happening right now with the spread of Omicron.... What they did was selfish and badly thought out. End of. You know this is an incredibly old fashioned and ill informed view of mental health. They get paid loads so they must be happy! 1

Lesta Legend Posted 2 January 2022 Posted 2 January 2022 They haven’t done anything wrong per say, no rules broken and most people like them getting on with their lives, the virus isn’t going anywhere. But in our current tight situation with injuries we can ill afford losing further players if they test positive - it’s a slightly ill advised choice. Not sure Brendan would have wanted them to go to this event either.
mozartfox Posted 2 January 2022 Posted 2 January 2022 (edited) This is the sort of thread that needs shutting down early doors. They have not broken or any government rules or guidelines. A trip to Morrisons where un-vaxed shoppers are allowed entry is probably more dangerous than a sports event where checks are made before entry is permitted. Edited 2 January 2022 by mozartfox 2
