legally,

could they attend a nightclub with the right documentation? Yes

Could they go to a pub and have a meal together? yes

I don't see the difference> Maybe not the most intelligent thing to do right now given infection levels are so high but legally they haven't done anything wrong.

Of course if it goes against club advice then that is a different matter and should be dealt with as such.

You never miss a chance to be negative or slag players off do you.Never actually been convinced you are a Leicester fan.

And thanks am fully aware of what’s happening with Omicron, I went to a packed pub yesterday, and yes I know I was very selfish.

Was there 3,000 people in the pub?

Unless there are pics of them all licking door nobs and locking lips with strangers in a bid to inhale the 'cron, I shall save my outrage for another day.

Presume they got permission as KDH is there and he's a good rule following lad, same for Fofana holidaying in the Maldives.

WHAAAT!!! HOW HAS THIS BEEN ALLOWED TO HAPPEN??? IM OUTRAGED!!!:mad::mad:

They aren't going to be near 3,000 people.

There's probably no difference to them being at the darts or in a pub/ club in terms of close proximity to people.

They’re all at it. Disgrace.

I think the burning question here is why Marc lets his mum choose his clothes.

If they turn up to training on time, pass the intense fitness tests etc etc then who really cares if they have a few drinks and go out and enjoy themselves from time to time.

It's quite nice to see that we have a group of players who are close in and out of football. Our title winning season was like a bunch of mates having a kick around every week, it didn't do any harm then!

Yes, we are not where we should be this season but that's for reasons much more complex and in depth than players going to watch a game of darts.

No but 32000 people were in a football stadium

Yet the pub probably had people wondering around, standing shoulder to shoulder. The darts are separate seated tables, and they were in a VIP section separated from the majority of folks there.

As said previously, probably less likely to catch it here than in a busy supermarket.

I'm upset about the darts visit

  1. What on earth is KDH even doing? Is that a peace sign?
  2. Where's Thomas?
  3. Claudio wasn't allowed on their table then? Poor form.
  4. I want to know the dialogue of the two boys sitting behind. They're clearly after our boys' table.
  5. [Edit] Jattdog, that looks nothing like Jack Duckworth.

Good to see that KDH is unaffected by fame, still gets his clobber from Peacocks. Good lad.

Tielemans is same age group as these lads but you never see him pictured anywhere. Man hasn't even got instagram or twitter.

Player welfare?😂

They don't live in the real world and they're pampered beyond belief every working day!..

Sorry but right at this moment in time it's very bad and immature judgement to attend an indoor event with 3,000 drunks!!

Anyone defending them need to read what's happening right now with the spread of Omicron....

What they did was selfish and badly thought out.

End of.

You know this is an incredibly old fashioned and ill informed view of mental health. They get paid loads so they must be happy!

They haven’t done anything wrong per say, no rules broken and most people like them getting on with their lives, the virus isn’t going anywhere. But in our current tight situation with injuries we can ill afford losing further players if they test positive - it’s a slightly ill advised choice. Not sure Brendan would have wanted them to go to this event either.

This is the sort of thread that needs shutting down early doors.  They have not broken or any government rules or guidelines.   A trip to Morrisons where un-vaxed shoppers are allowed entry is probably more dangerous than a sports event where checks are made before entry is permitted.
