Ric Flair Posted 22 June 2022 Posted 22 June 2022 Aerial duels seems to be a weak point though, we simply cannot afford to not improve in that area. 2
SouthStandUpperTier Posted 22 June 2022 Posted 22 June 2022 Despite finishing 16th Giresunspor only conceded 47 goals, which was only bettered by the top 4 in the Turkish Super Lig.
SouthStandUpperTier Posted 22 June 2022 Posted 22 June 2022 He also topped the Super Lig in interceptions with 73, so obviously reads the game well and has good anticipation.

It would be typical for us to buy a CB who lacks in the area we need - aerial aggression. perhaps his natural aggression will mean he could address this although cags is naturally aggressive but that didnt help us to sort the set plays issue out 1
NasPb Posted 22 June 2022 Posted 22 June 2022 Sell cags and vesty and sign this lad and a young one too pls xx 1

I don't care where or how we get better at defending set pieces and crosses, the logical area is usually defence and in goal but there's plenty in this lads game that looks intriguing and I love a bloody bargain. 5

Clarkey123 Posted 22 June 2022 Posted 22 June 2022 Could be worse could be another Moreno (2010-11 season) 1
Scotch Posted 22 June 2022 Posted 22 June 2022 Man.... Reading between the lines of the tenuous links we've been getting, it really does look like we could be aiming for a 5212. This fella seems a solid LCB who can play the ball similar to Forana on the right. We seem to be linked with a few LWB's to replace Thomas who is a FB. CDK links us to a secondary forward. No real links to a winger... ...Obviously these links should be taken with a pinch of salt and don't mean a whole lot but it COULD be viewed that we are targeting players with that formation in mind. Personally I don't care as long as we bring in players to fit particular system(s). 1 1
Shane Posted 22 June 2022 Posted 22 June 2022 Maybe we can get a 3million loan fee for Vestergaard and replace him with this Colombian fella for the same price
Ryy Posted 22 June 2022 Posted 22 June 2022 Why such a small rumoured fee after a great season? How longs he got left on his contract?!

Wortho Posted 23 June 2022 Posted 23 June 2022 Will this be the first time we had a player who's name is a breed of dog? 1 2
teblin Posted 23 June 2022 Posted 23 June 2022 Might be nothing in the link, however I think there is a pattern to try an add an attacking player that has physical presence to help with defending, as well as a slightly different option in attack.
