Farrington fox Posted 11 February 2022 Posted 11 February 2022 Don't rate him as highly as Madders now that he's recaptured his form. Time for Youri to move on. His hearts no longer in it.
David Hankey Posted 11 February 2022 Posted 11 February 2022 I've no problem either way. If he's not happy here, for whatever reason, then thanks and goodbye. If he wants to play for us then pull your bloody socks up!!
DezFox Posted 11 February 2022 Posted 11 February 2022 (edited) Fab has spoken. It’s what we already knew though to be honest. Edited 11 February 2022 by DezFox
CosbehFox Posted 11 February 2022 Posted 11 February 2022 Sad. Also sad that our fans are turning against him. He’s within his rights to do what he’s doing. Be his agent throwing his name about cos he’s worried his form is affecting his value

Plus there are going to be far more creative, consistent, influential mid fielders available in the summer. 1 1

splinterdream Posted 11 February 2022 Posted 11 February 2022 This statement will be because we've told him he's gone anyway, we couldn't just let him say he's undecided and run his contract down. So what do we do now? Ideally we want him gone ASAP, we don't want him thinking about running his contract down, but if he plays there no incentive for him. We need a deal for him straight away and then put him on gardening leave.
frany104 Posted 11 February 2022 Posted 11 February 2022 Get him gone ASAP. His career has been revived here and he’s showing the club massive disrespect with his lack of effort recently and constantly hearing about his agent touting him around. still find it funny that a lot of our fans said he was world class. He’s never been world class and his next club will prove that. No way he loves to an elite club. He’s not good enough. 1

Not debating either but the reality is LCFC have in my lifetime never had a player who can quite score a goal like Youri can or quite spot a pass like Youri can. Great players have poor spells of form it happens. If no one fancies him, we will be a problem for us as we can’t max out on his transfer value. There’s plenty of time for the club to identify a replacement

Popular Post Bert Posted 11 February 2022 Popular Post Posted 11 February 2022 People saying he’s now over rated. Have a word with yourselves. If he doesn’t wanna be here then fine, be a professional until the end of the season and give us everything you’ve got. Scored the goal that won us the FA Cup, and will always be grateful for the moment he gave us. Deep down we knew this was coming or else he’d have signed his new contract by now. 20 1
sammy82 Posted 11 February 2022 Posted 11 February 2022 I’m actually ok with him leaving, brilliant player on his day but we might as well be playing with 10 men when he’s off form, he’s been shocking this season and when the going gets tough he struggles, thanks for the memories 2

turlo Posted 11 February 2022 Posted 11 February 2022 Why THE **** was he made captain against Forest at the weekend. 3

I’d rather have a player signalling his intentions 18 months before than waiting last minute/into his final year. Now up to the club to make it work and identify a replacement. Traditionally he’d have left this summer from our normal tactic. Some major revisionism that he’s been awful this season. Made some massive impact in games such as Brentford away and Man U at home Edited 11 February 2022 by Cardiff_Fox 1
Blanchflower78 Posted 11 February 2022 Posted 11 February 2022 Just don't get any ill feeling towards players leaving? Came to terms with modern day footballs workings a long time ago. Accept what you've got for when you have it. Enjoy the good, deal with the bad. Its an entertainment sport when it's your time to go then go. Next! 1
ROB-THE-BLUE Posted 11 February 2022 Posted 11 February 2022 Good luck to him. Like Kante and all the other Prem winners, he'll always be a legend in my eyes.
Vindaloo FOX Posted 11 February 2022 Posted 11 February 2022 Quilty player, thanks for the FA cup win and best of luck. Time to find someone new.
ozvaldo Posted 11 February 2022 Posted 11 February 2022 One of the best midfielders we’ve had for a long while. On his day he’s unplayable and the FA Cup winner turned him into a LCFC legend. But he has blown hot and cold and it definitely feels like he’s known for a little while that he’s on his way out. Good luck to him.
