We were much better and solid with Ndidi and Soumare but I get Ndidi needs to build his match fitness. This is the Tielemans I have no problem losing. We shouldn't break banks for one player as there will be a knock-on effect. I think some want to live in an ideal world but we're not in it. That would be ok if we're waiting for the summer but if we want to tempt someone to buy in January not playing will reduce his value further. Think about it from Youri's perspective; with 6 months left he'll know where he's going and will have all but signed on the dotted line - come next month, he'll have probably done that even. He can bide his time to go to the club he wants and wants him with no transfer fee. They only thing that changes that scenario is a) his new club want him sooner, or b) nobody wants him. Personally, I reckon we've got him until summer because we need him. Not that he isn't talented but that the would be preferred clubs look at him and don't see everything they want; one too many boxes unticked and/or reservations about what they see.
