I believe you actually called me sarcastic not cynical (unless you’ve called me both).

Cynical? Totally with you. Given what we’ve seen over the last month I think I’m well within my rights to be aswell.

You're getting mad at one word off a perfectly reasonable tweet...

Surely he won't start Justin lol

Albrighton at right back I'd assume.

maybe not this game but will be thrown in soon. Lets hope he doesn't end up playing 3 games a week like Ricardo did when he came back

“They are critical for us. You saw on that night what a great atmosphere it was. It starts on the field and you have to show bravery and intensity. It’s both synchronised together. The supporters have to see the players playing with quality and that gets them going in the stands. We look forward to the challenge as always.”

Young players can be disappointed if games not going ahead when they're available?
“It depends on how you frame it. We have young players coming in now like Dewsbury-Hall, and his timeline is that he went out on loan. You have to be careful. Not every U23 player is ready for Premier League football and you don’t want to destroy a career. Development is different for players. We will look to play young players at the right time. We have been able to do that in the FA Cup.”

Nevile says games should go on?
“Everyone has an opinion, but unless you’re inside a club, and are privy to the injuries and Covid cases, then it’s probably difficult to say that. Gary will have an opinion and we respect that. All the clubs are working to get the games on.”

“Antonio has come in and given them a stable base. Nuno going in at the beginning of the season was playing a similar style. The players know what they’re playing. They have quality players, but Antonio is renowned for play 3-4-3. They have very good players, so they can play in any system.”

“I’ve always said at the beginning of the whole process that it would be an opportunity for young players. We had a number of players making debuts. Youth players are very important for us here, it’s a tradition to bring them through here. Hopefully that will continue to be the case.”

Soumare and Castagne?
“Bouba has come back from illness and has trained the last couple of days. Timothy has had an operation so he is eight to nine weeks. He had an issue with his thigh and he needed to go and have an operation. The blood kept returning to his thigh, so we had to have an operation quickly to sort that.”

Rules need changing?
“I think there will be. We are clear on where we are now. We were shown in a managers’ meeting that it will hit different areas at different times, and different parts of the country will be hit. Lots of players are injured because they are having to play more. The Premier League have tried to be as fair as they can. And then there’s Under-23s if they are experienced enough. We played the FA Cup game but then we couldn’t play the next game because we didn’t have the players. You have to play the games towards the end of the season.”

Premier League rules over postponed games?
“The rules are clear. For the Premier League, you have to have 13 plus a goalkeeper, so there is enough clarity. It doesn’t say the guys out have to be Covid. The rules are there and clear.”

What an absolute joke it is at this point. The problem we have is that every injury is going to lead to more. This invariably leads to Justin going down again.

8/9 weeks he says so I doubt we'll see Castagne again this season.

Big Dan is the other option at right back when he's back from AFCON

I know it's early days yet but I think Albrighton is the better option.
