Mad Or making a point of the situation that we’ve seen over the last month or so. Aside from that I don’t see the point you’re making of what you’ve claimed in your reply to it especially when you’re claiming something you didn’t say.

You got annoyed then at the club using the word 'recharged'

jeffschlupp Posted 18 January 2022 Posted 18 January 2022 So think the team will probably be: Schmeichel Albrighton Soyuncu Vestergaard Thomas Soumaré Tielemans KDH Maddison Daka Lookman Subs: Ward, Jakupovic/Stolarczyk, Daley-Campbell, Brunt, Justin, Choudhury, McAteer, Pérez, Barnes A similar shape to Liverpool in the League Cup, before Cags got injured. You've got to play KDH and Maddison if fit, but then a midfield three of those two + Tielemans is probably not strong enough, nor provides enough cover at set-pieces, so Soumaré comes in too. Enough on the bench to change it going forwards if we want a different option. Can see him maybe starting Hamza over Soumaré but don't think we have the options to go 3atb without Justin being fully fit or throwing Brunt in. 1
NaijaFox Posted 18 January 2022 Posted 18 January 2022 (edited) Given the players available (and unavailable), would think the starting lineup would be something in the order of (4-2-3-1) Kasper Albrighton Vestergaard Soyuncu Thomas KDH (Hamza/Soumare) Tielemans Lookman Maddison Barnes Daka Edited 18 January 2022 by NaijaFox 1
Fox92 Posted 18 January 2022 Posted 18 January 2022 Soyuncu and Vestergaard, fvck me what a pairing. 1 1

Corky Posted 18 January 2022 Posted 18 January 2022 Glad the game is being played, hopefully we'll see another spirited performance. Defence still looks questionable but the attacking threat still very much there.

Supergray22 Posted 18 January 2022 Posted 18 January 2022 I’m just glad to see Leicester playing again to be honest. Only so much Afcon you can watch. The last couple of games have been positive given what we have had to contend with so let’s keep that up. Get into them and give it everything. 1

The diamond vs a Conte 3-4-3 could be a real mismatch but I'd be tempted.
FoxinNotts Posted 18 January 2022 Posted 18 January 2022 (edited) I’d go with 3-4-3 (3-4-1-2) and match them up Schmeichel Choudhury - Vestergaard - Soyuncu Albrighton - Tielemans - KDH - Thomas Maddison Daka - Barnes Bringing on Justin, Soumare and Lookman at some stage Edited 18 January 2022 by FoxinNotts

Shane Posted 18 January 2022 Posted 18 January 2022 (edited) I reckon Hamza will have a good performance if he starts at CB again Edited 18 January 2022 by Shane
RowlattsFox Posted 18 January 2022 Posted 18 January 2022 This on sky or was it one of the Amazon games? I've lost track. Unfortunately it will be Vestergaard and Soyuncu, but no doubt the latter will go off during the first half (hamstring) hopefully the couple weeks out will have reset Soyuncu's mind and he can get back to previous levels. Could stick with Choudhury in there but I'd be surprised. Maybe he will go full Rodgers and play Hamza alongside the other two in a back 3 We can dominate the midfield with Soumare, Tielemans and Dewsbury-hall. Maddison in a free role. And Lookman gets the nod alongside Daka for me.
