I think we'll go 3 at the back and try and match them up which could be a huge mistake as it'll be a ramshackle mix of Hamza, Soyuncu and Vestergaard.

Dier, Romero and Son are the regular starters out for Spurs for todays match. Reguilon just back from injury. Line up from last weeks game against Chelsea, so will be similar to that with Reguilon and LLoris and possibly Skipp coming in

edit: Bergwign just back from a Calf injury, which is why he didn't play last week, so they could play him in a front 3 with Moura and Kane.

Do we have a good record against ten men apart from the obvious 9-0 ?

Absolutely! I feel a classic coming on here!

630am for me. Great chance to watch the lads live (when I watch replays I literally fast forward when we concede a corner)

Isn’t that how the game works anyway?

Although Spurs haven’t dropped many points under Conte, they have not looked particularly great, particularly with Son missing.

Nah basically I mean they are likely to score a few so can’t see us getting a 1 or 2 nil. We need 3 or 4 to win.

Will it snow? Will the floodlights fail? Will an underground eruption deep below the River Soar produce a dust cloud rendering conditions unplayable? Will I get stuck on the M1 somewhere just north of Milton Keynes?

So many hurdles

match preview

Recent history suggests that Leicester could outfox Spurs here, as they have now won as many Premier League (PL) H2Hs across the last four clashes (W2, L2) as they did in 12 such matches prior (D7, L3). Not only this, Leicester are currently on their best winning run of home games (W5) since a seven-game run ending in December 2019.

Antonio Conte has already broken Tottenham’s record for consecutive unbeaten league games under a new manager (W5, D3) and he will now set his sights on keeping that run going by continuing his dominant form in personal H2Hs with Leicester (W5, D1). Doing so could see a quick Spurs start as they’ve scored a first-half winner in three of their five league wins under Conte.

However, superstitious Tottenham fans may be wary of the fact their side have lost four of the last five PL away games they’ve played on a Wednesday (W1), which is a marked downturn following just three losses from 15 such games prior (W10, D2, L3).

Players to watch: Leicester’s Patson Daka is expected to lead the line in Jamie Vardy’s absence, and each of his four scoring appearances this term produced over 3.5 total goals! For Tottenham, Harry Kane will be licking his lips at the prospect of facing Leicester as he’s scored more PL goals against them than vs any other side (15).

Hot stat: The last nine PL H2H meetings have averaged 4.33 goals per game and there’s never been a 0-0 top-flight scoreline in 88 meetings since 1925!

Are we doing dreams? I had a dream that we go 3-0 up, with Albrighton opening scoring in the 3rd minute, with KDH and Daka getting the other two. Spurs get a penalty in the 35th minute, Kasper saves and Kane decks him, gets a red card, and then just goes and sits on the center circle in a pout and has to be removed from the pitch. That's when I woke up. Can't wait to see how the second half plays out.

Sorry - I knew what you meant really!

slightly disagree - I personally don’t think they will ‘score a few’ - don’t think they have looked particularly strong going forward recently.

Having said that, Kane is now odds on to score.

It’s not about their attack more about our defence.

Daka will be all over Sanchez, always looks a bit of a bombscare when I've seen him.

I don't think there is anything to be afraid of, other than Kane, defenders aren't the best and they have little creativity in midfield.

That doesn’t look too scary.
