Won the league. Won the FA Cup. We can watch highlights of those to console ourselves. The highlights Tottenham console themselves with after a defeat are in black and white.

Annoyed I didn't mention him in the OP. Yep, he's got his swagger back.

 

Sometimes he doesn't choose the right pass or delays play but his overall contribution out weighs any criticism. 

 

If he can keep this level up for a while he'll be the jewel in the crown

Whilst KDH is a positive, as is Thomas, and to a lesser extent Lookman, we shouldn't hang our hat on these players. The worry for me is we've lost the verve we had at the start of Rodgers's reign, and it's looking more likely we're in danger of losing the individual players with the real extra quality, the ones who separate you from the mid table fodder.

 

Think it's a creeping feeling that we've missed the opportunity to establish ourselves as the "best of the rest", which outweighs a lot of the positives to some extent.

It's a story, I'll give it that.....goes right Up there for memorability with wolves 4-3 and Middlesbrough 3-3 under Mickey Adams and 9 man Bolton equalising 8 mins into injury time under Bassett

At least our refusal to do any business in January isn’t going to massively cost us this year. Haven’t got our hopes up to be undone by our cheap skate approach, already got that out of the way with. Feels like a positive to me
