FoxesWalk Posted 23 January 2022 Posted 23 January 2022 (edited) Has been offered to Inter according to reports in Italy. No idea how reliable. https://sempreinter.com/2022/01/23/leicesters-timothy-castagne-rb-leipzigs-angelino-offered-to-inter-italian-media-report/ edit: original source is Gazzetta Dello Sport Edited 23 January 2022 by FoxesWalk
Ric Flair Posted 23 January 2022 Posted 23 January 2022 I can see him leaving, it's not really worked out for him that well here. 6.5 / 10 signing so far. 1
Tuna Posted 23 January 2022 Posted 23 January 2022 Decent first season all a bit average so far this season but been injured.
Popular Post Salieri Posted 23 January 2022 Popular Post Posted 23 January 2022 Surely we need to keep him. Yes he’s had injury problems this season which obviously has impacted his form, but for me he is still an important player who can play on either side. There’s plenty of players who could leave (some by choice), but I hope he won’t be one of them. 15

"Leicester City’s Timothy Castagne and RB Leipzig’s Angelino are two of the players who have been proposed to Inter in their search for a left-sided player to back up Ivan Perisic. However, neither of the pair look likely to be allowed to leave on loan during the January transfer window by their clubs, according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport"

Guest Kopfkino Posted 23 January 2022 Posted 23 January 2022 Would not complain if we sold him. Has generally been crap since his first few games and even if Justin was at fault for the goal today, seeing him at RB today even when he’s still not really fit shows what we miss with Castagne playing instead of him or Ricardo.
Popular Post StanSP Posted 23 January 2022 Popular Post Posted 23 January 2022 Wouldn't like to lose him. Think he can be versatile across the defence and helps with the balance of the side. We're bound to lose quite a few other better players and losing someone like Castagne won't help the squad depth. When he's not affected by injuries he's worthwhile to have in the team. 5
Lambert09 Posted 23 January 2022 Posted 23 January 2022 He’s so over rated. I’d 100% let him go for a fair fee 1
Grebfromgrebland Posted 23 January 2022 Posted 23 January 2022 Can't be true unless we're going to play with no full backs
Popular Post Freeman's Wharfer Posted 23 January 2022 Popular Post Posted 23 January 2022 Keep. Reliable 7/10 most weeks. Versatile as well. People can say “sell, we won’t miss him” but what that means is that we have to replace him with someone who can offer as much. That’s not easy, as seen with Bertrand and Vestergaard. For every Praet, Castagne, Iheanacho etc that we let go - when they have shown they can perform at the highest levels of the game - it’s a risk that we’re moving our squad away from that level through poor recruitment. We’ve shown with some of our signings of late how much easier it is to inadvertently bring in a downgrade as opposed to an upgrade. It’s the likes of Mendy, Choudhury, and Vestergaard we should be selling. 26

rachhere Posted 23 January 2022 Posted 23 January 2022 I really like the guy. However, if we are to choose between keeping him or Ricardo, I would sooner keep Ricky.
Buzzell Posted 23 January 2022 Posted 23 January 2022 Depends on what we could get for him but I’d like him to stay.

The footballing world as a whole. I think our fan base did but recently people have started to realise he’s not all that. he’s okay but that’s just it. I think many Atalanta fans would tell you the same thing. The problem is, he’s not quite good enough defensively and he’s not quite good enough going forwards. Usually you pick one or the other... we have someone who doesn’t stand out in either category and I just think we can do better. Edited 23 January 2022 by Lambert09

AKCJ Posted 23 January 2022 Posted 23 January 2022 If the offer is north of £20m then I'd sell but anything under that then keep. He can play 3 positions all to a good standard. We are absolutely not too good for players like him. 3

Fair points Im still hopeful with him, like with many of our players I think hes a confidence player and fancy he can really excell when we are turning it on. Obviously not going to be happening anytime soon due to having the weakest mentally squad in Europe it seems Edited 23 January 2022 by EastAnglianFox
filbertway Posted 23 January 2022 Posted 23 January 2022 Why are we offering out full backs if we were desperate to sign Bertrand?
