Rumour is that it will take £20 million plus to pay him off. The season is over might as well pay him until

the end of the season and then review . As far as I am concerned he presided over one of the biggest

embarrassments I have seen at the club in a very long while. His position is now untenable

The problem is we need a rebuild in the summer whatever the case, but for the meantime Rodgers/ whoever are stuck with the likes of Youri and Söyüncü until we can sell them in the summer, even if they don’t want to be here.

Can see the season petering out now, so not sure whether it’s worth spending a chunk to get rid of Rodgers now? And not sure who we could get in to replace him at this point in the season?

I’m on the fence now for the first time.

I’m still don’t think it’s clear cut. Obviously we’ve all written this season off. The harsh reality of football is that come the new season, the previous season counts for almost nothing.

The problem with demanding a fresh start with a new manager and heavily revamped squad is that you’re effectively starting from nothing. In other words, if you want to finish fourth, you’re betting that your new squad is better than 16 others - all of whom are also trying to improve.

The current regime and playing squad has proven itself capable of strong results. Obviously they’re not performing at the same standard now but, rationally, backing the current core to reestablish itself is probably a safer bet than starting again.

I've wanted him out for a while. How does he improve us after continually taking us through capitulation after capitulation? If he all he ever does is attribute blame to anybody but himself, who'd want to player under somebody like that?

I thought he'd dialled down the Brent stuff, it's just more insidious than ever.

These players can do better our league position and cup exits we are performing collectively I would say at 60-70 percent.

Either Rodgers has been training them too hard or not enough. This result / results are on the manager. Yes the players do share the blame as well. But the manager leads the team and we are being led by someone not up to the job

out pushed me over the edge yesterday, ive loved teams that have not been great (i.e. all of NP's team)

i've started hating the team and think that is Brendan's fault

Voted in, but only cos I'm not certain we could get Potter.  If we could then I'd probably vote out.

the same bloke that has 18 winless matches in the last 27 games? our fans wouldn't cope with that the boo's would be out by Christmas.

It hurts to say as I've backed him to turn things round and get us out of this rut, but for the first time I vote him out. Maybe naive of me so far and a bit of blind faith and perhaps just late in seeing things how they are.

But yesterday was the perfect opportunity to show some fight, determination, grit and hunger. Some basic traits, against a local rival no less, to show everyone you still have it within you and to pass on to the players that specific fire in your belly.

With how the players played, there seemed to be a sheer lack of the above. A lack of desire. A lack of a want to win. Yes there were silly mistakes but there's always an opportunity to want to do well and win. Anyone can take losing (eventually) as long as fans can see everyone did their utmost to win. But to lose so embarrassingly and sloppily, lazily. It was shameful. Yesterday for me showed he's lost some of the dressing room, and for a manager of a football team it's incredibly difficult to come back from that. If he can get that message to fight til the end and not give up when we concede, or get the basics right as a professional footballer, then it's heading towards game over.

I've lost some of the faith I had in him. With that said, if he ends up somehow turning it around in the league and we were to get far in Europe (or even win it of course), then he'll win that back. I don't see it happening now though. I am of course happy to be proved wrong...

I'm fully aware there'll be plenty saying 'I told you so'. Good on you.

I was out after the game. But it seems like, for better or worse, he has thrown the players under the bus. Now, I strongly doubt that will have any positive effect and I fully expect us to carry on playing shit. Last chance saloon for me, if we get dicked by Liverpool and don't show anything against WHU, just get rid.

I’m amazed people still voted in tbh.

He’ll be here until the end of the season then be let go in the summer, said it for ages. Only way this changes is if we go on a ridiculously poor form, failing to win like 5 or 6 in a row.
