One of the strangest games I’ve ever seen is involved in. We were piss poor but we win 3-0 but it still wasn’t a smash and grab. Very odd.

They scored you know

I want Ndidi to stay..

Since his return, his better games have been IMO at CB...

Maybe this is our better Option until we can get Fofana upto scratch, Not just playing..

Choudhury has played well when asked...this season...Ditto for Mendy

Amartey has bis Strange moments,But up there with  better performers

Soyuncu has had 2-3 last games, shown something like old self...

Ricardo Finding his form...

Justin needs nursing back in,but we need him to have some games...

Thomas, still young but proved to be more than adequate.

Too many on this forum having unnecessary dinks at him,He s Defo One we should be  giving Space to,and not get on his case..

This is the group,  we work on from now this unit is what  should we be concentrating on...

Rodgers & Coaching staff Need to get them Working as a disciplined unit higher than any other priority...

Fofana & Castagna have to be seen as season losses, but gravy only, if we can get them involved, though obviously Working Close to the others..

Seems obvious, But with last showing we still seem so unprepared....

& One reason  ( though Not agreeing) I understand the later desillusioned.  Rodgers out brigade...

I just Dont get last Nights performance..Forget Rodgers, or any manager at the moment, what is so wrong with the players that they bring so many continual wacky individual poor performances...& for me who dont seem to fking talk to each other between & during games...

A win is a win , but that was piss poor .

I have said this many times our ball control and passing to our team mates is disgraceful.

and Rodgers should tell kasper in on uncertain terms no more bloody short balls to players who are scared shit to control it and then just fire it back to u kasper.
well I really can’t see us winning our next game on that performance, Europe will be gone and we will end up in a battle to avoid relegation, if things don’t change quick smart

Very unconvincing performance despite the 3 goals,  defence is appalling and made worse by the lack of protection offered by our midfield, Ndidi and Tielemans so far from their best atm its like they are not there at crucial times.

And the service to Kels was also not there.

ANY prem or championship club would have put 4 past us last night so lets not get carried away with this result - the problems persist.

The test is against teams of a similar standard to us,  namely Burnley and Leeds.

Big improvement needed and fast.

as a side note, that 3-1 win -- to go through in the knockout stage of a European competition -- actually dropped us 5 spots in the fivethirtyeight club rankings.

(because we got slaughtered on xG by the club ranked 288th)

What was the xG out of interest?

I think that’s because had Randers had a clinical finisher up front they actually COULD have overturned the first leg deficit…there’s nothing very reassuring about that

plus we fielded a full strength side - so yet another opportunity to blood some squad players and get them pushing for a start - Hamza in the NDidi role for instance - hasn’t been taken. The same small group of players is asked to do the donkey work even when we have a 4-1 lead…

I have to say on this I agree..

For a manager who carries the rep.he likes to give youth &

fringe players a push, Rodgers hasn't been too exciting or adventurous of late.

Though we have seen some young guns get their chance & are part of our major players..

We did a Wolves on them. Never got out of second gear, let them have a fair few chances but when we did attack, we showed the difference in class.

Part of me took some satisfaction out of the desire to block and keep the ball out of our net at all costs, you can see how desperate they all are to get a clean sheet and try and build from it. However, the art of defending is to snuff out the danger before shots are fired in. There were so many chances that Randers on another day would have buried and that's very concerning.

What is going on? How can this team be this vulnerable to swathes of chances? Just when it seemed we might be starting to perform better off the ball, let's hope we can get back to that improvement on Tuesday otherwise more pain is to come domestically and we cannot simply assume we'll be alright.

Wolves don't allow 23 shots against them of a game, their entire system is built on snuffing teams out. Yes we created a few more chances than them last weekend but the type of performance from them and then us last night is not comparable.

I'd compare the performance of us vs Spurs and Randers similar but that Spurs eventually took their chances and beat us where as Randers missed sitter after sitter.

Edited to say I've just checked and Wolves had 26 shots against them last night so please ignore this 😂😂😂😂😂

7-2 does not reflect the tie over two legs. Particularly last night. Essentially caught them cold in the opening minutes, and then two individual moments of brilliance. I’d say second half they dominated, and with a half decent striker they could and should have had 4 or 5.

We have a lot of ball watchers in the team. Vestergaard plays about 5 yards behind everyone else, so any attempts at catching people offside are useless. Maddison and Tielemans for all their ability aren't work horses, KDH's presence is massive.

We've played two teams Wolves and West Ham who both went into their shell after scoring against us. If any team in the Prem outside of the top 6 were clever enough to attack us in numbers like Randers did then we'd absolutely collapse.

The Leeds game on paper should be about 10-10. Two teams that can't defend but love attacking and scoring

Poor game on a poor pitch with poor officials but in the hat for the next round and that is all that matters in the end. Positive has got to be we have players coming back and we can go stronger than last night (we will need to).

Time to reflect after watching that last night - I’m still utterly amazed at the state of that performance- forest esc - abhorrent in every way - any even small pointless positives from wolves disappear after that - puts lookman back on the right which he simply cannot play - ndidi and tielemans were minging- so was Maddison first half but those 2 bits of brilliance save my wrath- I actually cannot believe how bad that was defensively and don’t get me started on nacho- I’m the first to say he needs more game time but when he performs like that no surprise he doesn’t play more and yes I know he is better in a 2 and not a lone forward - another Brendan masterclass- Jesus- not sure Iv ever seen us deserve to win a game less - about as bad as it gets for me last night - up there as pretty much exactly the same performance as against forest but this time against a pub team - god help us - rant over

Ok, we went to Randers and won. That is what we should have done. 1-3 sounds comfortable enough, but we made so many mistakes, allowed too many chances and would have been punished by most in the Premier League.

A win is a win, fair enough and I hope at least some confidence can be gained from that. However, as others have noted, this is papering over the cracks.

I think we will lose to Burnley.

Just got back to Arhus (in the middle of Denmark), had a brilliant time, everyone in the away end was buzzing. Can't be arsed reading all the negative comments this time. Job done. Move on. Let's get it right for Tuesday now.

Love this club, love the 600 nutters with me in Randers.

We're on our way.

All true!

But the behaviour of some Leicester fans in Aarhus after the match was an utter disgrace. We saw a group of 4/5 lads, off their heads, picking up every bicycle they saw and chucking them at shop doors and windows, climaxing with one brain-dead lout throwing somebody’s bike off a bridge into the river.

One of my group thought he recognised one of them from the Nottingham city centre videos.

The people of Aarhus, Randers & Denmark couldn’t have been more welcoming. How is this a way to repay that?

We can’t police everything or have security everywhere but I’d love it for their behaviour to be captured on CCTV (it will have been) and as a result them to be banned from travelling to Leicester away games
