Never said that, but you would think from posts on here a managerial change guarantees success.

And I am still awaiting an answer to the question posed.

It doesn’t guarantee anything as no one can see into the future, but I don’t like the football I’ve been watching for months, Puel or Rodgers. Not my cup of tea but if you’re enjoying it, fair play…

On the face of it that should have been enjoyable. 4-1 up from the first leg. Get another early on. Maddison scores two beauties. We’re in the round of 16 draw tomorrow.

But the reality is that it was anything but.

We played well and were unlucky at Wolves. But we were pitiful tonight. Half-decent opposition would have destroyed us. And that includes Burnley. I fear the worst at Turf Moor. And if we lose that, a relegation scrap beckons.

One thing you do need at Burnley is physicality and hard work , Spurs didn't show those characteristics and I don't see those either from City.

After witnessing Randers missing almost everything we threw at (handed) them, I'm sure we can learn from this and provide even better opportunities

So just answer , who is your cup of tea?

Not a difficult question.

I agree this season has been a nightmare however I see no point in doing anything until the end of the season when we can take stock. If there were some great candidates out there I could maybe understand the clamour for change but there seems a lack of options and what is to gain by sacking him with no viable alternative.

Didn't watch the game, but no surprise with comments of "papering over cracks " and the fact they had lots of chances and our defence was poor. We will we see where we are at level wise in the next round.

We’re through, but my god that was awful.

He picked a strong team, presumably to restore some confidence but instead we got absolutely battered against a team that is League One quality at best. The amount of quality chances they created was staggering, but more worrying for me was that we couldn’t even keep any sort of possession.

People won’t get too carried away because ultimately we went through, but I’m desperate for to us prove that we can be resilient and organised but tonight proved to me that we are a million miles from that.

I think matches like tonight are why Rodgers struggles in Europe. Bad pitch, cold, opposition up for it, perhaps a bit leggy from travelling etc. We just can’t deal with any adversity. We are so soft and disorganised it’s unreal.

No chance will win this competition with the mentality that is now ingrained in this squad.

Rodgers is soft at the end of the day. Why we dropped to 5th in two consecutive seasons.

Was that only the second time that we've won a two-legged knockout match in europe?

It was yeah, and BR's first!

Not looking for excuses but glad the premier pitches aren't as bad as that!

There are thousands of coaches out there, but I’m no longer a teenager playing FIFA / Football manager 24/7 so I’m not as clued up as some.
Certainly, Mark Hughes isn’t as someone suggested 🤣

I’d just like to get away from Tika-Taka, sideways fun zapping football. That is my concern, we go for someone just like Puel / Rodgers again.
I like the Klopp approach of press press press, aggressive quick passes into space. Now obviously, we aren’t getting Klopp, but there will be coaches out there with the same ideology

Credit to Madders for two great goals, saved our blushes in what was largely a dire performance in which a 4th division standard team could have put 10 past us. Good job they couldn't even finish to a 4th division level! Not at all reassuring we're on the up. I suspect Burnley are gonna mince us on Tuesday and it's one step closer to that trap door. Whoever said Kasper had a good game after a feck up like that to concede, well says it all.

Confused emoji …..

Either I’ve had too many carlsberg or I’ve over exaggerated the amount of clear cut, yawning, chances they had due to our incompetence. Either is possible

I used to just laugh off the negative comments on here because they used to be over the top nonsense. Now it feels like everything said comes true. We'll **** it up at Forest, we'll concede again and again from corners, we'll never keep a clean sheet (not even against Randers). It's just been a dreadful season. There is almost no way I can see us winning this competition unless something miraculous happens.

I feel like a few players have decided they're gone and that wouldn't be such an issue if they still did their absolute best for us. I don't understand why that's so hard for people paid as much as they are. I never thought I'd have my opinion of someone like Tielemans changed so much after he gave me the best moment supporting Leicester. Yet in true Leicester fashion these lads are undoing everything they've achieved. It's so depressing.
