What a celebration too. So much passion.

Can hear Savage celebrating before it's even in too. Hates us though.

Really hope Wes and Soyuncu can build a solid partnership for the rest of the season

I think Fofana will be managed appropriately between now and the end of the season and Rodgers has already said that. It's clear that physically and mentally he is ready, he's an absolute monster of a player but the last thing we need is him being over played and end up injured again. Amartey and Soyuncu will still get plenty of game time and Wes will definitely play his part between now and end of the season. I'd defo be resting him for prem games just before the ecl games.

The reality is we will probably sign a CB in the summer.

but still, that’s rather harsh on Amartey who I think has played better than Soyuncu this season

If we sign a top CB in the summer to play alongside Fofana and keep Soyuncu, we‘ll be in a much better position defensively. I think Big Dan may well move on if Cags stays.

I think a lot will depend on if Evans has another season left in him. Soyuncu hasn't kicked on as we expected him to this season.

So while his value is still quite high I think he might be the one togo to provide funds.

Similar with Amartey, as I sure we're bringing in another CB in the Summer.

What Amartey has in his favor is Brendan likes him and he's the only right sided C B we have.

Plus his value might be better as backup compared to what we might get for him in the market.

His English has improved massively! It’s surprising how many foreign players don’t bother. For example has Cags ever spoken English in an interview?

Fofana is on his way to being world class but the question is if he will be a leader type like Sergio Ramos or a deputy type like Varane. If he can speak the language he perhaps can become a leader. Players like him and KDH seem to have real mental strength which this squad is severely lacking.

He can speak English now as well 😍

Very naturally too, obviously and understandably accented but with an ease. Methinks it's another indication of his attitude.  He's an easy going and positive guy. We are very lucky to have him, that energy and demeanour will be infectious!

Went to back him anytime scorer tonight thought maybe I get 9-14/1 on bet 365, he wasn't in the list so I couldn't back him. Of course.

28-1 first scorer on 365 request others, my mate backed at £5 meant I never had to pay for drinks all night 😂😂

To come back from such a bad injury and put in a performance like that it shows what a big Heart he has both for the game and the Club.

He obviously has an appreciation for Brendan the way he ran to him after he scored.

Delighted for him, I just hope he stays long enough here to see him get even better.

to me he is in the same mould as  when Kante. Played that season for us. He’s just a complete stand out performer and  his class is right up there. And just like with Kante I feel honored to have seen him play in a Leicester shirt and I know he’s destined for  the top.

So I'm guessing he was just rested for today after Thursday's game, purely to manage his recovery/reintroduction into the side? Wise from Rodgers if so. I suspect if it was tougher opposition it may have been a different decision to make. Now hopefully he can be ready to hit the final stages of the season being fully fit...

I was going through airport security when this went in and I screamed so loud the security guard came over and had a few words!
