These lot seem to be quite confident judging by their prediction thread on their forum. Pointing out the obvious set piece frailties and Eriksen being their saviour. Talk of them having a doable 5-0 victory for them to leap frog us too!

Not sure which way this will go to he honest. BR team selection will be very interesting today.

Believe to ensue the integrity of the league you should always play your perceived strongest side ,particularly against a side that could still be involved in a relegation battle.Plus 36 points and if not already we should be safe ourselves and allow me to relax and just enjoy the forthcoming games. 50% of their goals scored from set plays a d 48% of ours conceded Wonder how this is going to play out ?

True, as a statistic, but we have been much better at defending set pieces over the past month. If this game will be won or lost on Brentford set pieces, I'd bet on us based on current form.

Every time I’ve worn the new FBS shirt for a game we have drawn or lost, never won. I have a good feeling that this superstition will be broken today… fingers crossed.

Football at 2pm on a Sunday in the sunshine. Our crowd will be dozing off even more than usual.

Today the atmosphere  will be like  a Eurooean derby game so LCFC can show PSV what they will have to look forward to when they come here!

They will be dreading the flasks, the moans to "sit down" the clappers and the goal music, PSV ain't going to know what's hit them when they see today's atmosphere!!!

The result mostly depends on the recovery from Thursday night which must've taken, both emotionally and physically, a lot out of them.

Tough situation with JJ. Clearly rusty and needs games but I don't think we can afford anymore mistakes whilst he's getting back up to speed. I'd start Ricky and give JJ another 30 mins if it's going well.

Long shot but don’t suppose anyone is driving up from Cambridge or Ely and hasn’t left yet? Just missed the only coach and there are no trains…? Happy to pay for fuel money

We have lost 1 in 11 at home but we do have ongoing issues so probably 1-1 or maybe sneak a win.

Just shows how bad our away form is, frustrating.

Perez to start today and bag a brace.
2 - 0 win and all is looking good going into the international break.

I’m saying no chance he ever starts a game for leicester ever again - it’s taken a long time but rodgers has eventually realised what all of us knew ages ago - he is absolute muck- such a waste as he has a bit of quality but no idea what to do with it - if he starts today I’ll obviously have to eat my hat but that would easily be the most baffling decision rodgers has ever made and he has made plenty

I’ll be staying positive going for a 3 -1 win Lookman to come in for Kevin Brendan will probably play Hamza in for Wilf, be great to see little Wes back at home hopefully Brendan will play Nacho & DAKA ( if fit) upfront together !

but I’d go for sure up the defence for their set pieces and Forward threat

Kasper

JJ Amartey Wes Thomas

Lookman Youri mendy or KDH  Barnes

              maddison

                Daka

I think there are rail replacement buses from Ely to Peterborough and then trains from there to Leicester mate

Only question today will be the defence - mendy , kdh and youri will be 3 in middle - Barnes and Maddison either side and 1 of daka or kel- can fofana do 2 games in 4 days and could we see ricardo and justin as full backs

Daka unlikely to be fit according to Rodgers and it's unclear if Senior man has come through Thursday night unscathed.

Fair enough as hadn’t heard the daka bit - as for nacho - did he actually move on Thursday night - he can’t run - he won’t be tired surely - has to play - more games he plays better he gets as was shown in that run last season

Had a great game on Thursday. Seemed to have two players in him every time he received the ball but still managed to do something with it.

Talking about Perez being a “false no.9” today, he’s already been a false 7,11 and 10 in his time here.
The fact that he’s fresh as a daisy but not been utilised says it all, would rather see Lookman or Barnes central than him even if it means getting our width from wing backs.
