I don't ask a lot of players. Some can't run (Tielemans) some can't pass (KDH) some don't track back (Mahrez) and some throw bizarre shapes when attempting to save a shot (Ward). I accept all of those things but I don't accept players just not giving a shit. I don't care what his personal issues were last year, I don't care if his chances have been limited or if it's not his culture. If you stand there watching players run past you, not putting a foot in and just lazily lobbing about in the centre circle, this club doesn't want or need you and you'll deserve every boo you get.

looked decent his first couple of sub appearances then nothing in 18 months. given his vanishing act last spring he's either home sick and should go, can't get to the pace of the PL and should go or has been so badly miscoached as to ruin his point as a player in this squad, and since Rodgers could molest a goat in the centre circle at half time and not get sacked, Soumare should go. it's not working for him here and he's wasting his career and our money staying

I’ve been a big critic of Soumare and see too many flaws in his game for me to change that BUT I’d say that KDH was actually worse than him last night.

 

I’m not glossing over Soumare’s poor performance but would rate them both 3/10 at best last night.

 

KDH is NOT good enough to be a starting CM in the PL…never thought I’d say that after his debut season but his lack of a right foot, inability to know what to do in the final third is really disappointing.
