But seems like Rodgers would rather start Youri however poor he plays and just wants to run KDH into the ground, and no clue what is going with Bouba

If KDH can’t take this Work load since his selection, god knows what a full season will do. Game run wise, he’s far from overcooked…

I would like Rodgers pick a first choice midfield,by benching Tielemans, IMO because of poor form..but Rodgers can use any excuse he likes…

I would like to see Maddison in the middle just behind the strikers.

I would like to see Daka &Nacho play together,

Nacho stay in the central channels, Daka running across the forward channels..

 

Last night ,from the posts many were happy with selection..

A few times now,since some Injury returns Rodgers according to most FTers ( first 4-6 pages, on match-thread)  seem in selection agreement.

but if now we give Tielemans a pause, & really because of below average form over more games. Then taking my above statements,we might have to change tact,but doesn’t mean there is necessary better quality player coming in , just a different set up..

If we can play most of our considered strongest B.Line, then let’s see if we can be more direct…

Castagna & Justin after injury, are still ticking below their

wished even expectant form..!!

Tielemans and KDH shouldn't be anywhere near the starting line up. The minutes they're racking up are stupid. Evans to be rested. Other than that, no reason not to go fairly strong.

I really enjoyed the last home league match (Palace). Plenty of enthusiasm, effort and entertainment complete with a pantomime villain. A Saturday 3 o'clock kick off in the sunshine and a chance to stuff the brummies. What's not to like?

all eyes are on Roma next next so yes we want to rest key players and want to avoid injuries BUT we need a feel good factor going into the Roma game not another lame ending like our last 2. Time for the players who get picked to step and get something out of this. Bang some early goals in and lets try and manage the game out if anything it will be good practice and prep for the Roma game. No silly mistakes either show some balls and no fear when villa inevitably start lobbing balls forward its to be expected in extra time so hope the players flipping expect it and be confident. We are playing at home so lets all do our part and be the 12th man

If we come out of this run of fixtures v Newcastle Everton and Villa with 1 point then Rodgers can do one as far as I’m concerned . I’ve been supportive of him but that would indicate something is definitely wrong . We have better players in pretty much every position than these sides and can’t secure a win ...

Well the ‘first team’ will have been told not to ‘pick up any injuries’ !  That wouldn’t help …..

 

Tomorrow will be more of the same or more of the second eleven playing so expect more of the same …….
