Saturday 3pm? Wow. When did they introduce this new kick off time? 
 

There will obviously be changes, but wouldn’t want to see too many wholesale. I would like one of the centre halves that played tonight to play. Swap the full backs, that’s fine. I would give Maddison another go on the bench too along with Tielemans. KDH is perhaps the fittest player we have so he’ll be fine.

To be honest I’ve never been one of the: “I don’t care” merchants. Carabao Cup - I care. UECL - I care. I even want us to win pre season friendlies. 
 

But now we’re safe and in mid table and the Roma game being the only one that really matters. And the fact that every time I invest any emotional commitment to this team it contrives to throw all my hopes down the toilet in injury time. The fact that they throw it away in the most depressing, avoidable and predictable way possible -  it’s difficult to want to commit to doing it all again against Villa. 
 

I do care, but I’m coming as close as I could do to just wanting these games out of the way.

As BR doesn’t care about PL results neither do I. Have a ticket but decided to accept alternative invite. Season is all down to Europa conference. Win it then season will go down as successful when in reality it has been disappointing  and frustrating.

Absolute dead rubber anyway. Give Alves a start and see how Sammy Braybrooke gets on against a experienced professionals. May as well use these opportunities to see what the youngsters are about.

It's good we have the longer rest than usual to Thursday. Maybe Fofana and Evans will stay. Justin and Pereira as full backs? 

I’d go the opposite way and keep Youri in but bring KDH out with Roma in mind on Thursday, if he got a knock we would well and truly be f****d!

Play Soumare and Daka every league game from now until the end of the season. The league is over - use it as bedding in and training for them. 
 

I want us to start 22/23 with quality and something to prove. 2 less ‘bedding in period’ players will help with that.

It's a shame Rodgers has no clue how to make a back 3 work because I really think it makes sense when all the centre backs and full backs are fit. Allows a front 2 which helps Daka and Iheanacho. Lookman would be unfortunate to miss out in that formation though.
