  • Leicester lost this fixture 1-0 last season, with Ross Barkley netting the winner in the 90th minute. They’ve not lost consecutive home league games to Aston Villa since April 1981.

  • Villa are looking to complete the league double over the Foxes for the first time since 2003-04, after their 2-1 win at Villa Park in the reverse fixture.

  • Of all teams Leicester have faced at least 20 times in the Premier League, only against Leeds (45%) do they have a higher win rate than they do against Aston Villa (40% - 10 wins from 25 games).

  • Villa have played more Premier League games on St George’s Day without winning than any other side in the competition (four – D2 L2).

Are we sure this wasn’t meant for “The Ever Obliging Leicester City” thread? 😆

Where is Soumare?? We could really do with another midfielder at the minute!

Think he was ill/Injured but seems to have been kept relatively quiet from Brendan, don't think it bodes particularly well for his future.

Would love to see him get a few run of games end of the season and have something to build on next season. hopefully if we look to sell we can recoup around what we paid.

Out with personal issues.

Anyone catching the Birmingham via Nuneaton train, I just spotted its an hourly service due to replacement bus service between Birmingham and Coleshill. WHY do Cross Country always do this when its a midlands Derby. :protest:

Keeping leicester ostracised from the west Midlands is undoubtedly a good thing.

I think this is extremely accurate apart from one bit.

“Leicester will sit deep and get more and more defensive in the second half inviting maximum pressure whilst they await the inevitable goal”

I was just more positive.  Cynic.

2.0 until injury time. We loose 2.4 giving away 2 pens and one sending off in a frantic last few minutes.

Place a get on that now 😀

The press conference suggests KDH and Tielemans start again.

Without KDH we’d get leathered, not sure about YT, how many gaffes has he made lately that have lead to conceding a goal.

This will be our weekend team.  How does Rodgers rest Tielemans and KDH.

He really doesn't trust Choudhury.   Maybe Brunt or Braybrooke should get a game

Based on the fact he obviously doesn't care about results in the league, it should be easier for him than he'll make it haha

Mad that Villa are the favourites tomorrow lol Rodgers has done an incredible job of lowering everyones expectations of us. We'll be getting told to be thankful for 40pts and a top 17 finish next season.

As I work with so many Vile fans at work I so need us to beat these buggers tomorrow to keep the smug little fuchers at bay so I can be that smug little fucher on Monday !!😉🤣😂

I'd normally be up for the Villa game but I'm honestly struggling to care. Sick to death of our constant laboured and negative approach.  We are more than capable of smashing them but it will just be another afternoon of sideways wayward passing and mistakes.

Is Vardy back?

He was in the training photos,so he might play some part imo.

He'll go full pelt for Thursday though ,if fit enough.

A European medal to complete the set 🤞💙
