You have a point.  He is not good enough for a top Premier League team.   

 

I like him but he often shows his limitations.

 

Perhaps you could start again if he gets a lot of game time next season.  Unless he has moved by then.

Amartey has had some good games but Is not good enough if we are to be a top team.  He is liable to careless errors.   His passing is not crisp enough and can put us into trouble.   If we are serious about improving, we need to move him on and upgrade.

 

Soyuncu is by far the better player imo.   This makes it all the more frustrating that he has had such a poor season.  I would rather see Soyuncu than  Amartey along side Evans or Fofana. I would rather see Evans and Fofana.

Think we all want Evans and Fofana but not sure what you expect from someone who is supposedly our 5th choice centre back.We are not in a position to have a quality centre back sitting on the sidelines just in case we have a major injury crisis.

He is not a bad back up who would normally probably play less than 10 games a season.

The continued criticism of him from certain quarters is very tiresome.

I keep expecting to see Bet Now giving odds on a goal or two conceded after normal time and as a special, as seen a couple of times this season in post extra time, probably called added extra time. At least in a Leicester game you know it isn't over until the final whistle. So long as we are 3 up at the end of 90 minutes we should win today.

What would be nice, is a comfortable win, 3 Nil to Leicester, and not have to worry about conceding either a draw or loss, with the mandatory 5 added minutes, we see now days, that would be a nice bonus, given the last 2 results.
