LCFC vs ROMA Match Thread - 1st Leg, 28/04/2022 - BT SPORT

So many cynical fouls by Roma going unpunished. The ones that have nothing to do with the ball should be yellow every time. No yellow for Smalling stopping a move on the edge of the box was a shocker.

Keep going lads!

Tilly for that goal is an actual disgrace lol stick a ****ing foot in lad

Doesn’t even need to stick a foot in. Just follow your man. Very simple stuff.

Albrighton? Really?

Watch the game, and you'll see us have zero attacking threat down that side, and if Mourinho plays an attacking Left back, he will bomb on and have the freedom of the park.

Waste of a shirt.

(I look forward to being told about how 'Incredible' he was during our Title win)

Leon is Nostradamus.

I’m really fed up with Rodger’s negativity and forcing this slow ponderous build up upon us. Albrighton had an absolute nightmare and simply shouldn’t be playing in a European semi final in 2022.

At least we’ve been forced into playing Justin at left back, shame that it takes that and Rodger’s doesn’t actively do it in the first place.

Have you even watched the game

The club have given a section of the A stand to Roma fans, if they celebrate again its going to kick off

I could be miles off it, but I’m sure this is something to do with UEFA and not a club decision

We should have got more out if that half. Tracking was poor for the goal but otherwise we showed lots of fight against a robust opponent. Keep calm and we can come back. Do your stuff Brendan.

We need to go 2 up top. Throw the kitchen sink at them like we did Atletico in that CF QF second leg game. Vardy being marked by 3 CBs, along with our wingers offering little threat is not a recipe for creating chances.

We've done ok generally but there is a massive lack of consistent quality and creativity but we've known that for years. Just got to hope Vardy gets a good chance, otherwise he won't be in the game.

Lookman has done well but we do someone like Barnes when he's at his best running at the opposition.

Tielemans should follow his man but do think Evans should sense the danger quicker, he's the defense after all.

They are nothing special all but they are on a different level to us mentally and in terms of game management, these will take some beating
