If you want to compete for top 6 and trophies you need better wide options.

Decent performance so far, just lacking a cutting edge.

Poor from Albrighton for the goal, trying to nick the ball rather then getting goal side.

Typical Mourinho performance this. We can’t afford to give soft goals like we did. Simple long high switch ball, straight run and a simple pass to a striker. Goals don’t come much softer than that. We are so naive in those situations, sometimes you just drop in and defend you box when they break on you but we try and win the ball in a dangerous position.

Other than that we’ve played well, which makes the fact we’re 1 down more frustrating!

This ref has let these guys off with 3 yellows so far! Unbelievable

We are really missing Mendy. Tielemans can’t play that role.

As much as I like Vardy, we need Nacho on to bring other players in.

We also need Perez on at some stage instead of Albrighton - or Barnes and switch with Lookman.

Self quote shame.  lol

Never been more proud of KDH and MADDERS today

Yep, if we're to get anything from this, one of those 2 will be the architect.

The annoying thing is its their two centre backs who should have been booked which would massively change their mentality for some physical challenges.

We are far too nice. They dominated us physically and cynically in the first 25. We are playing some reasonable stuff without really creating anything though.

the ref should be booking their players so they'd think twice about doing it again. instead they've been allowed to get away with it.

1st half we have been good, but I think we’ve been done by Mourinhos tactics

They’re keeping players behind the ball and leaving no space in behind.
2 weeks ago MOTD highlighted our narrow defence. Roma have a player on the touch line every time they have the ball. The switch of. Ball to the LWB was what created their goal.
Tielemans is being marked and not given any space, but he is not picking up his man defensively

Refwatch, How come they are fouling 3 times more than we are (and jumping in) and we are level on bookings?

If Hamza was any good he probably would have been starting

Choudhury has played well against Liverpool this season in our 1-0 win. He isn’t a hopeless league one player.

In games like these you need a DM, even if its your 3rd/4th choice. Choudhury tracks Pellegrini’s for their goal imo, instead we have Tielemans not following his runner.

The ref's decision making has been...weird. seemed to set his stall out early with the Tammy yellow, then lets all Roma's heavy fouling go unpunished?

We're playing well, it's just that final pass we are again lacking. Bit disappointed in Tielemans so far too, if I'm being critical. Plenty of time to make an impact though.

Just not creating enough, several corners and free-kicks and nothing serious from them. Poor goal to give away, not tracking runners.

Maddison seems the only one prepared to shoot, need more from Albrighton, Lookman and the full-backs.

They should have at least two more yellows, poor refereeing,

Honestly surprised roma didn't have 6 or 7 yellow cards in that half.

Italian clubs and national side have gotten away with it for decades  skilful but dirty and crafty

Playing well apart from Albrighton. Not sure if he's carrying a knock  but not his usual high energ self.. Even for the goal he let his runner past him and couldn't be bothered to track him.
