Yes - did think that was the rule. You are right - they kept going on about it would have been against the spirit to disallow it etc but bet if that was against England in the WC they'd say differently.

pedmcl Posted 9 October 2022 Posted 9 October 2022 (edited) Trent’s confidence is shattered. Feel sorry for him. And looks like his ankle is done now - rough time for a class player. Edited 9 October 2022 by pedmcl
adam Posted 9 October 2022 Posted 9 October 2022 I thought the game only got stopped for a head injury.
Lambert09 Posted 9 October 2022 Posted 9 October 2022 klopp on man city selling players to arsenal “I know City wouldn’t have sold him to any club, but with Arsenal the distance was enough” Have that!
Super_horns Posted 9 October 2022 Posted 9 October 2022 Arsenal taken their chances despite Liverpool being on top.
StanSP Posted 9 October 2022 Posted 9 October 2022 Lucky for Tsimikas to avoid punishment there. Clearly went for Jesus.
Lionator Posted 9 October 2022 Posted 9 October 2022 Very concerning to see Jesus carrying on there, was clearly knocked out.

SouthStandUpperTier Posted 9 October 2022 Posted 9 October 2022 Arteta obviously thinks 3 points are more important than the long term health of one of his players.

Just found it - wow - hits his hand and his elbow - wtf is going on ? I mean they can’t just decide not to enforce the actual laws of the game ………you may not like the attacking handball law but you can’t pick and choose when you enforce it …… West Ham 3rd goal was also hand ball. They've been very fortunate with decisions today. 1

TheUltimateWinner Posted 9 October 2022 Posted 9 October 2022 Seriously how does Arteta get away from basically being on the pitch every game 2

I am surprised there isn't a seperate non-team affiliated doctor present for all matches to make the decision regarding concussions, rather than the own clubs medical team making the decision 2

fox_up_north Posted 9 October 2022 Posted 9 October 2022 Christ Liverpool make us look solid at the back
StanSP Posted 9 October 2022 Posted 9 October 2022 Can you imagine how fuming Liverpool would be if that was their penalty ? They'd be incredulous as to how it even gets checked.
KFS Posted 9 October 2022 Posted 9 October 2022 Can’t believe I’m saying this but fair play to Xhaka for keeping his cool
