Didn't watch any of it. Decent result for us, though. The fact that it's coming to hoping for a draw between 2 teams in the bottom 5 says everything about the state that Rodgers has left us in.

Somehow I don't see Cooper staying at Forest much longer, despite the new contract - they're shit and should be on no league wins after that absolute heist on West Ham.

Rodgers wants banning from football if we continue to sit well adrift of dross like this.

it astounds me that any decent side would go near him again. Why on earth would Villa want him? He isn't inheriting a decent squad like he did here and he's a proven fraud.

I mean I hope it happens. The dream is he ends up at Forest.

Gerrard to the get the axe today I think. Villa should have won last night pretty comfortably, one shot at goal Forest had and goes in. Villa just spent most of the game, circling the Forest box working out how on earth to attack. For a squad with players of Courtino, Ramsay, Watkins, Bunedia, Ash Young, McGinn and Ings they should be doing so much better. Gerrard has been found out, amazing player but a weak manager. No doubt though when Klopp time comes to leaving they'll be Liverpool fans calling for him to get the job.... must be insane.

He’s been backed in from 20-1 to 2-1 to be next manager sacked in the last couple of days.
Hopefully it happens and they are stupid enough to make an approach for Rodgers.

Don’t blame them to be honest.

We are going to be that person who left it too late to get a date for the disco and just dances on their own, outside, shouting at how much fun we're having without them

Don’t necessarily agree with that - there is going to be a lot of musical chairs post World Cup

We could well leave ourselves to much do if we wait that long.

Not advocating we should wait that long - just saying names will be available post WC which might be more alluring than those on offer now

Yeah there probably will be.

We just need to get rid of Rodgers and his staff now and give it to Stowell until the World Cup if necessary.

Could actually see Villa being really keen on Rodgers, and vice versa. He'd probably do really well for a season or two.

Begging they get rid of Gerrard and get him in.

I think they look like a match made in heaven. He'll see Villa as a stepping stone to an even bigger club.

Wonder how much sway Coutinho will have on their decision making. By and large he's not been a great signing but we all know what a good player he can be. I wonder if a word from Coutinho would help Rodgers chances seeing as they previously worked together. I can imagine that the deal Coutinho's on will influence the board's decision making as they need to try and find a way of getting the best out of him.

Emile Heskey's son is in Man City's u19 squad this evening...

Probably join us on loan next season in the championship alongside Savage’s son from Manchester United.

Coronation of King Charles confirmed for May 6th, we're away to Fulham. Are we thinking games for that day will be moved due to policing and security?
