The obsession with him is a bit odd at times but it's not hard to fathom why he gets a level of stick from our fans that other top players don't. I would also say that some of the dislike probably comes from the perception that Kane is essentially the anti-Vardy both stylistically and in terms of his football background, and that his presence and status in the England team is the main reason for Vardy's relative lack of impact internationally.
