Really hope they don’t give a fortune to Rodgers to rebuild the team. Apart from a couple of positions we’ve got quite a decent squad on paper. The fact that the same issues come around regardless of who is actually playing suggests it’s down to him.

 

If he doesn’t like not having the funds he can fvck off and we can roll the dice with someone else. And he can take Tielemans with him. This has got really stale.

 

And can one of the technical geniuses here tell me why we keep watering the pitch so much when it’s quite clear that it seems to result in our players falling over more than the opposition?

One third of the Championship will have 'City' clubs next season, but we won't be one of them, mainly because we'll limp over the safety line, as Leeds and the others will basically run out of games in which to catch us up.

Just annoying that corners having been sorted out at all. I haven't noticed any changes in how we defend them, it's the main thing that keep costing us. As for the rest of the game it wasn't quite as bad as is being made out. Wonder goal for their first that can't be compensated for. A surprising amount of pressure from us, which was nice to see, looked more dangerous than in recent games. Pickford had a blinder which is frustrating because that seems a common theme from this season, Ramsdale and Pope come to mind too. 

 

Overall better than recent weeks but deeply frustrating, especially the corner situation.

Rodgers shit himself today when turned to the Kop because he was rightly getting abuse. 
 

That had all signs of someone who didn’t have a clue what to do. KDH and Barnes both ended up playing a position they have never have in their professional careers. Just a hugely disjointed eleven at the end. 
 

Players aren’t motivated it’s now clear. I counted three today what showed a level of aggression. 
 

We simply don’t run enough. With or without the ball. No one goes beyond their opposite number to make space. Just canter back cos they are afraid of losing the ball. 
 

He somehow managed to get the players back in a decent shape after Forest but it’s clear they’ve gone now. 
 

We are reverting to level seen before Rodgers time. The excuses are done and there’s no defence.

We possession'd the fuk out of that game.  Passing it about, playing keep away felt like man vs boys out there. Watching the little scum chase the ball. Ya they scored, got the 3 points but how can you not love the possession based spanking.

 

Things dreams are made of.  My ass is wet thinking about it.
