I’d rather play a youth player than Vester. If we manage to offload him for anything over 5mill it’s incredible business. Never seen him play Better than  5/10

Did you not watch our home game against Man City last season?!

He was brilliant in the first half but fell a bit flat in the 2nd. So that's 45 minutes of ability for 12 million. 3.75 million per minute.

To any Fulham fans reading this, great signing - congratulations. However please keep you hands off our ex-England International, Champions League winning left back. He might suffer the occasional injury but when he's fit his points contribution make a massive difference to ensuring we clock up enough points to get over the safety threshold. It'd be a disaster if you managed to sign him too.

Perhaps  personal terms aren’t right for him - he’s losing money over the contract compared with staying here.

also, he needs to play - if he isn’t guaranteed playing time there then what’s the point of moving from here.

he will be hoping an offer comes in from a team where we will play. Otherwise a loan deal late on is likely.  That will not be so good for our ffp issues as it will prob take only half his salary and bring a few mill fee.
and it leaves his salary on our cash forecast for 23/24.

I’m reality, we’ve not had many reliable sources for outgoings, other than Chelsea bidding for Fofana recently.

FFS - You’d hope he would have been told there’s no realistic possibility of any game time with us this year, but watch the ever obliging LCFC put him on the bench today 🤦‍♂️

Is there an actual link with Everton or are we just hoping?

Nah, sorry. I was just being flippant. I should have put an emoji or something, my bad.

Surely if the Fulham bid is for real why would Vesty refuse it? Hasn't the Danish manager said he is only taking players to the World cup who are playing regular football for their team?

Unless ofc Fulham only want him as a squad member, in which case i guess he isnt getting any benefit.

For his own interest a move surely would be more beneficial.

Maybe because they don't want to match his pay.

If thats the case then he's valuing money over playing in the World Cup. Not sure how many players would make that choice?

I think it's thr playing time if this is true bit he's not going anywhere as first choice and on the same money so he needs to consider whether it's better to stay here and be 5th choice and unlikely to play more than a handful of games and probably spend the entire World Cup battling to prove he's ready to be picked as opposed to being a shoe in for first choice or go somewhere he'll at least play a good chunk of his teams matches.
