With Brennan Johnson at AM and Cornet RW and Lingard inside it will be a competitive team to come up against. Niakhate at the back is a very good signing too and Henderson in goal 1

He had a good time at Union but will the 'Bundesliga tax' strike again?

With the people around him supplying, he could do well, although for me he doesn't look anything special.

kingfox Posted 4 August 2022 Posted 4 August 2022 For about the 50th time of this transfer window, thoughts are with @Ric Flair at this difficult time. 1

Hahahaa not that arsed about this one, even though it would have been a very sensible addition given our issues across a multitude of positions.

Deeg67 Posted 5 August 2022 Posted 5 August 2022 He's a good player. Not a game-changer but good enough to start for a decent team and quite versatile. Nice signing for WHU, who look like they could make a reasonable case for the "best of the rest" slot in the PL as it's currently constructed. 3

Arsenal went into the wilderness when building their stadium and are still yet to catch up to where they were, prior to the stadium rebuild. We are doing what we need to do to put ourselves in a position where we can effectively compete in this division, it had to be done sometime and we have just got to accept this. The lack of funds affects our ability to bring in quality when it is available, and looking around there is a lot of quality at affordable prices, we just have to say no, at this moment. It will be good to get the expansion done and the other builds which come with it, but we are no further down the line with the project and the longer it takes, the more we become uncompetitive in the markets.
Leicester_Loyal Posted 5 August 2022 Posted 5 August 2022 (edited) Would have been a good addition for a reasonable price. WHU seem to have their shit together atm. Edited 5 August 2022 by Leicester_Loyal 3

Moyes is building a steady squad at West Ham, similar to his time at Everton. 3
