Scandalous but can’t expect his value to have increased based on his performances for us.

 

Surely means we’re not covering any of his wages at that fee either….so it could trigger that much needed injection of freshness into this stale squad.

 

Just bin off Jannik, sort out the beef with Cags either way and hopefully ship out Perez now.

Annoyingly if he had taken that Fulham deal we would've been able to get nearly £25m and £150k wages back from Vestergaard and Soumare

I get that but don’t give him a squad number, exclude him from training with the first team (like the 4 players at Spurs)…do whatever it takes to stress that we’re serious…he has no future at the club.

 

Then let’s see if he still turns down Fulham.

 

I know someone will mention the harmony of the squad, the media love the “Big 6” so would report if Spurs have any disharmony in the squad wouldn’t they?

 

Yet, I’m pretty sure there hasn’t been any noise…players would if he was doing it to Kane/Vardy (in our world) but not to bloody Jannik.

Yep, and then a French journalist says it’s a complex deal for Soumare.

I wonder if the structure of the deal better suits us though, perhaps all or higher % of fee paid upfront and there could be some add ons that are fairly easy to achieve that means we end up over the contract getting between £15-17m back on him.
