Massively over rated.

No thanks.

The thing is, so we're Abraham, Tomori etc and they got their moves and actually proved at a decent level that they are good players. Hudson-Odoi has shown less than both in the PL though so I'm not convinced he'd easily do the same but it wouldn't be out of the realms of possibility.

I do worry he's more Demarai Gray though in end product.

"Hudson-Odoi's immediate future at Chelsea hinges on whether the Blues are able to complete the signing of Jules Kounde from Sevilla. Thomas Tuchel is not expected to sanction the 20-year-old's departure unless a replacement is already in situ at Stamford Bridge."

Yeah real like-for-like replacement there

Sounds like a perfect fit for us.

Average player on obscene wages, will fit right in!

Absolutely  in all seriousness I think CHO could end up loaned out to the Championship, he hasn't shown enough for a PL club to take a chance on him IMO with those wages unless Chelsea pay the majority.

he’s actually the opposite though. He has bundles of talent but he’s more at our level than champions league winners level.

In his only sustained opportunities in the first team he actually plays very well. Doesn’t suit tuchels system though.

I wouldn’t be surprised if he arrived and was on the same level as barnes tbh and who would turn that down? the question has always been the finances involved to get him here.

Absolutely no reason this guy couldn’t push on to be a top top player

how is he over rated, 90% of the posts on here say he isn’t good enough based on the fact he doesn’t break into chelsea’s team … the same that said lingard was a hopeless case before he went to west ham

He made an England first team appearance before even playing for Chelsea - lol.

Numbers aren't great and never really impressed me when I've seen him. I believe we could do better.

I'd take him if the price (and wages) was right. Would be threat on the opposite wing to Barnes. Still only 21 so has room for development.

I think he'd be an upgrade on our current right wing options but unless he fancies a considerable pay cut it's surely a non-starter? The same source also has us in for Lookman who is seemingly as good as signed for Atalanta so I'm not sure we should be paying it too much attention either way.

I mean....wages? I'd of thought we'd be looking at a player like this when we've somewhat reduced the wage bill, isn't it more about quality rather than quantity now we're not in Europe? We need to be scouting hard to try and find some bargains who may be happy to play for £30k a week

If he came on loan it's likely we wouldn't pay all his wages. A very good player not quite good enough for Chelsea, or consistent enough, but could easily do well here.

He's young, and as long as he's motivated but I'm not a fan of the Rodgers (taking failed players with something to prove), I just think it'll fail more than it brings results. It works for us as long as Chelsea subsidise his wages but are we really going to sign him at the end of his loan on his expected wage? We need a long term structured plan and if this is part of it fine, but just get the feeling this is laziness in the rodgers mould just like the signing of Bertrand and vestegaard.

For me let's stick this season and invest money on a serious scouting network and try and unearth some talent that doesn't expect £100k a week

I would love us to start looking at South America more now that it is easier to sign them.

Do you think Rodgers has a finger on the pulse with world football talent?

Because ideally it's clear we need a talent factory because we just can't afford to keep renewing contracts for players wanted by the top 6.

This is all speculation of course because we may have loads of scouts all over the place but over past few years it feels our signings have been lazy and desperate
