Ward or Iversen?

There is no way Iversen could possibly be worse and if he is then we should have sold him as there would be plenty of willing buyers in the championship.  Ward inspires no confidence at all in the defence so he has to be on the bench.

Clearly not good enough. The way he keeps is to avoid error. He covers his near post religiously. Wants to avoid making obvious errors to detriment of ability to actually keep goal

Players clearly have no faith or confidence in Ward. Ndidi is probably one of the most laid back players in the squad and for him to go at Ward like he did shows a lack of respect or belief.

Radio Leicester had a reporter from Preston (I think) a few weeks back and he was raving about Iverson. Likened him to pope saying what a good keeper he is.

Genuinely the worst starting PL keeper in years for any club. When he dives it’s like watching football in slow motion

How can an unconfident Danny Ward possibly be any worse than this “confident” one though?

Ward has made 9 saves but conceded 16 goals in only 6 matches.

Made a save at his near post today which I am pretty sure he was actually trying to get out of the way of

I think that’s a bit harsh - he’s made quite a few saves. He’s a good shot stopper, but I agree with everyone else - he’s not up to it. We are seeing poor pieces of play on a regular basis, and I’ve defended him previously.

Assume Rodgers will feel he can't drop Ward for Iversen for a while because it'll make him look a mug.

He's not though is he
